That's not the case, in my opinion. In our case, it was used to clean our tankless hot water heater and it did not shut off despite running for several hours. In this scenario, the tank was constantly being filled with water/vinegar.
In my case, I used the pump to circulate an acid solution through a tankless water heater, and it worked great. I believe it would work equally well for saltwater since the impeller and pump housing are made of plastic.
The engine is air cooled and does not need oil. I appreciate you writing this.
As far as I know, I only use it to pump water and vinegar- My tank needs to be scaled- The water heater is not working.

Pumped clean water from my tankless hot water heater with this device. It worked like a charm. It is 4 1/2 feet below the water heater, so I put a bucket on the floor. Afterwards, I connected two 6 foot black hoses, disconnected the water heater, closed the valves to the water heater from the water supply and the house, opened the valve to the hoses, poured in 1 1/2 gallons of vinegar, and hooked up Even though it was dealing with a rise of 4 1/2 feet to the water heater, the pump provided the ideal For 45 minutes, I ran the vinegar solution and you could see the cloudiness that resulted from the deposits it was flushing After I had completed the process, I used the pump to flush clean water through the water heater, then I turned all the valves back to how they were and plugged the water heater in I finished it. By the way, when I was done, I flushed the pump until my breath did not smell of vinegar (it took four shots of fresh water). If you want to store vinegar (which is an acid) in the pump, I would suggest not leaving it in there since storing it this way would not be good for the pump. My tankless water heater needed to be descaled, so I bought this. I've tested it and it works as intended. It had been a while since I used my white vinegar, but it had turned blue after about an hour. The tankless heater was cleaned after it was used. As a next step, I used the vinegar on the fire ant hill patches around the yard. Finally, I filled my bucket with water to the top and provided a pump to pull the vinegar out of the water. What a powerful pump! I was amazed at how much water it moved! The device pumps the contents of a five gallon bucket dry in about 30 seconds. In order to be sure the vinegar was completely removed from the pump, I ran about three five-gallon buckets full of water through it. I am very happy with my.
It is not the first time I have received items in questionable condition, but this hit me like It is not clear if it was someone's last day on the job or what, but it is mind-blowing that this was considered acceptable to sell as "new" at a premium price. This arrived a week after it was purchased. It was ordered on April 1st, so it took a week to get here. This is a good one (talk about a commitment to a joke). Shipping box was fine and there were no clues as to what was inside. As you can see in the attached photos, it arrived exactly as it is. An open, crumbling, and old box had been provided by the manufacturer. A note was found on the pump that all the pegs on the bottom had been Due to the fact that I have not processed or received a refund, I have no idea how it works You will return faster if you do so. I am inclined to say "Buyer beware" based on a couple of the other reviews I have read (after the fact).
For the purpose of servicing a tankless water heater, I purchased this pump. was easy to use and came with a few different connection options, however, I was satisfied with its stock hose attachment. We set this pump up with a bucket and a set of washing machine hoses and it worked beautifully. It was everything I expected it to be.
After running it 1 time, I ran it 2 times. I used it continuously for five hours the first time (after it was installed, I had not flushed it since it was installed), so it's hard to predict how well it'll hold up as I only use it With a plumber I would have had to spend over $60. With a pump, hoses, and bucket I would have had to spend under $30. There will only be one cost in the future, which is.
My husband and I just bought a house with a tankless hot water heater and I just stumbled upon youtube videos about cleaning it every year with vinegar and a pump like this. As far as what the product does, I didn't have any issues. I will store it in my house so that the seals and such don't go bad in our garage's hot/cold temperatures. I would wish that the cord had an on/off switch, but I didn't need it since I only intend to use it to show my pride once or twice a year.
My home has two tankless water heaters, and I bought and used this pump to flush them. It is built very well and you can tell you have a very high-quality product. It is very quiet, doesn't heat up, and is very easy to use. In total, I ran them for about 4 hours to circulate vinegar and then fresh water in heaters. I have had no problems with my heaters since I flushed them. In the coming year I look forward to washing them with the liberty pump again. Several times over, it has already paid off its price.
Pumps like this one work well for descaling tankless hot water heaters. According to the manufacturer's specs, it has an output of 23 gallons per minute (GPM), but I measured about 7 GPM when using a 5' hose (3/4") at the same height of the manufacturer of the water heater recommends a flow rate of approximately 4 GPM, the slightly higher flow rate of this pump probably increases pressure a bit. In that case, I don't believe this pump can match the pressure of the incoming water. The normal pressure of the incoming water is 70 psi.
