Product Description

This valve solved my problem, and it looks like it is part of the original American Standard fixture because it was installed between the hand shower hose and its wall connection point. Despite its slick appearance, the body is well finished, corners and edges are comfortably relieved, and the chrome is of high quality.

This was bought to add to the second shower head in our bathroom. Almost all of the plastic at the hardware store is cheap. There is a lot of weight on this one, and it is As well as the size of the opening, it appears fairly large. As opposed to others that may drip for a few seconds so the user doesn't forget to turn off the water, this one completely shuts off.

There is nothing wrong with this valve it seems well built and should last for a long time. It is only because of the weight that I did not give it 5 stars. Although it is a small part, the valve is heavy for its size. That being said, I would recommend it since it does the job it was designed for.

There is a possibility that the male connection is not Although the female connection works properly, the hose cannot be completely screwed on to the male end, possibly due to the NPT thread being not the same as what I'm used to
