DEWALT 7-1/4-Inch Circular Saw, Lightweight (DWE575)

From the moment I acquired the tool, I noticed that the packaging was different from other Dewalt tools. Unlike the other tools I have from Dewalt, this boxed saw from Amazon was not shrink wrapped and there were no plastic binding or white ties attached to it. The closer examination of the box made it appear that perhaps it had been retaped or resealed. Can you tell me if the saw I got was defective or returned? While I have used circular saws in my past, I looked at the Dewalt manual to refresh my memory. Blades are assembled at the factory and included in the I connected saw to normal home power outlet and extension cord. I depressed trigger and nothing happened, saw didn't even hum, nothing. I tried again, saw didn't start up, didn't even hum. Not even a hum. Here is another power tool to help you out The problem was not a power outage. We contacted Amazon Customer Service by text, but no one responded. There must be a problem with the trigger. The saw still did not start. Returned the saw through Amazon. I started the process. In packing back into the Dewalt box, I noticed the saw had some wear on it. I found sawdust residue beneath the saw in a very small space. I'm so angry! I was so disappointed with my weekend project!.

On the faceplate, there was an obvious scratch. After closer inspection, I found that the saw I received had a number of small dents and scratches. In the box, we found a knife and a saw. It didn't work so I returned without using it. did not pay for a refurbished item or a used one. You should always inspect anything you buy before using it.

We would love to have a table saw or miter saw, but our house is small A foot. Whenever we want to store something, we have to cut it down. I am so glad to see this! Both of us are not particularly talented when it comes to DIY projects. I think it could be done by anyone with a bit of common sense if you follow the instructions and use safety precautions. The only thing you need are some saw horses and maybe a storage box as well. It was a bit pricey to buy the one recommended, so we left the insert tray out of a similar Dewalt tool box and this fitted perfectly! It is rare for me to use a circular saw inside where sawdust is an issue because I prefer to use a handsaw. Regardless of price, most inexpensive saws do not come with an adequate dust collector solution. However, Dewalt offers a dust collector that works like a charm.

Years ago, we had an ancient circular saw but it had just worn I decided to get the DeWalt Circular Saw because my old saw was very heavy and difficult to adjust, etc. This brand of tools was recommended to me by someone who had replaced a worn out tool with one of theirs. It's great to have such a great As it goes through wood like butter, it is light, easy to adjust, and holds its setting. Use of this app is a pleasure. It has served me well for a while, and the battery lasts quite a while. In recent years, I've replaced older tools with DeWalt tools as they reach the end of their lifecycles. The saw (sawed) was on sale for an incredible price- In my case, the price was right, and I was using the right tool.

The weight of the package is 6 pounds. There is no way I can justify spending nearly 1/3 the price of my saw on the plastic vacuum attachment.

Since I bought this saw in late December, I just got around to using it. In order to make my first cut, I had to cut a 4' length. A couple of feet X eight feet. On the saw horses, I placed the plywood at a line I measured by chalk. These 2 pieces would replace the soffits on my house, so they had to be perfect. A straight edge long enough to make it the full 8 feet was not available to me. As a result, I had to cut it by hand. I made sure to cut very carefully, and the result was perfect! As if it were butter, this saw ripped through plywood with ease. Almost as if it had been manufactured. This purchase has been very satisfying for me!.

The cordless version I thought I was buying was actually a USB-connected one. I was under the impression that the tool was cordless since the product page stated "basic tool only". I was disappointed when I opened the box and found that it was corded. However, once I started using it, I realized that this was probably one of the best circular saws ever This tool is well constructed, easy to use, the cord is long enough, and it cuts accurately and smoothly. Like me, you're a do-it-yourselfer.
