I love the quality of this It is the blade included in the kit that is the cause of 'saw pull' in reviews. Her cuts are straight and true after she puts on her Freud Diablo.
The house was almost on fire. Then and now As you can see from the video, it almost caught fire while it was in use, so I'm returning it. am quite pleased that my first cut was precise, the laser worked well and the laser worked well. I bought an Irwin blade for it. It comes with a complete garbage blade, won't cut straight at all, gets hot while in use, and warps and gets distorted while in use. I found that it wasn't suitable for even demo My reason for buying this saw was that I needed to cut a 3/4" plywood floor to be removed. It was useless blade that came with it, so I decided not to use it for the demo work even though it was straight cuts that were important. Upon cutting about six times, this blade began to feel twisted and bound up. It also went to pieces as far as straightness went, and I began to smell burning plastic after about six cuts. Despite the push and pull of the trigger on a bench with no wood, the blade barely turned. Hence, I removed the blade thinking that maybe it got stuck in the plastic melting. In fact, the motor would barely spin the naked spindle, and smoke was escaping from its Then I recorded it for you all and sent it back to you all. In the end I decided for 10 or 20 bucks more I can have a real saw because I didn't use the blade they gave me with it, and I only used it for like one cut a day or twice a month or something, the blade might've lasted just fine. Hope you have a great time!.
This is a nice and easy process. When cutting wood lattice sheets that are 4ft X 8ft in size, the laser guide was a great help since drawing a straight line and following it does not lend itself well to this process. I had perfect alignment all the way down the lattice, avoiding all sorts of obstacles like gaps and wood! I found the price to be less expensive than similar items with a laser guide and the warranty to be better and longer. I was so pleased with the saw that I could not be happier. In addition to the blade, it includes two by fours, fence planks, as well as lattice.
A half inch is all we are talking about. As a result, I stopped making the cut and checked out the blade that came with it. When I first saw the blade, I thought it had broken However, on closer inspection, I saw that the blade was so flimsy that it should have never been fitted to any blade, ever. So let's not take it for granted that Black and Decker will give you an inferior blade for free. The blade is very thin. I've never seen anything like this.
It was super helpful to have the laser line. After a bit of a learning curve we found the instructions to be a bit unclear, but once we got that out of the way it worked as Cutting a door with ease was no problem for it. There are several reasons why plastic is cheap There's no doubt in my mind it wouldn't prevent most things. In addition, there is no trigger guard, so when you put your finger in the trigger, it goes off. The laser light will not work if the blade is not turned on. Having the option of halfing jobs would be helpful The laser light can be turned on without rotating the blade if you pull the trigger. In terms of safety, the last point is minor, but it definitely needs to be addressed.
There is a great deal of power in this I bought a $5 Avanti 7 1/4" framing/construction saw blade with carbide tips at Home Depot to replace the blade that came with it as it was hard to cut wood with. However, since the saw is so nice, I have not used any of the original blades yet. Like a knife through butter, it pierces through lumber with ease! Powerful, lightweight, and easy to use (lighter and easier to hang on to), this motor is an excellent choice for beginners.
The knife I purchased was intended to cut a countersink. There are unfortunately a number of problems with - It is very delicate to say the least. I am also not sure how the base works. My counter was slanted and I tried to saw it When the base is adjusted, the top will look like this I used the plate with a guide that I clamped to the counter, but it wasn't much use since I had to use it with a guide A straight edge should be cut from top to bottom. There was a slight angle of cut with the guide, which either led to a cut that ran away from the guide or into the guide. I returned this to the store and bought a Makita that costs twice as much as this but allows you to make straight cuts. Here is what the gist of the story is. It can't be used for straight cuts, but it will do the job if you need to cut a 2x4 here and there.
Trying to stretch my tool budget so I can get into woodworking quicker has been successful. Since I have had good experiences with some WEN products, I decided to test out this Black & Decker product Dicker discovered the Years ago, I owned a few of their drills and they held up for many years. With the addition of a nice diablo blade, I figured everything would work out. Then I realized I was In a class of its own, this saw is unmatched. Until I realized that a lot of it was actually plastic, I thought it was just paper. My frustration got worse as I spent ages trying to get the blade to cut a straight line. The reason I had not played the hobby for so long was my own fault. Earlier this morning, I sat down at the workbench to try and resolve this issue. My attention was drawn to a crack at that moment. I found this crack to be a constant problem when cutting something since it would allow the saw blade to shift. The only thing that didn't shrapnel while I was using it was this device. There is a refund for me from Amazon.
