VFD should not be used with external resistors for three phase motors because this VFD is not applicable to them. It runs the fan continuously when the motor is not running (there needs to be customization of fan functions). Motors that run on light load are not supported by the VFD

VFDs have the ability to drive constant torque loads (such as hard starting Air compressors, HVAC units) and variable torque loads (such as pumps, fans, etc.). There is just one phase at the input. Sine wave PWN (SPWM) is used as the control system for this item. This device has been designed to be compatible with both 60Hz and single phase inputs from the USA

A spindle motor is used in this application. As stated in the product description, the voltage output is The product image says "220v, three phases", but the product description says "380v". Which one is this?

Thank you for reminding me that there was an error in the description. I have now corrected it. The unit is capable of outputting 380V three-phase power

Even though It was advertised that I would get it in a month, I received it just four days after ordering it. A few weeks ago, I purchased an old metal lathe with a 420 V motor (this was the first time I saw that kind of motor) and needed an inverter to power the machine. The only glitch is that it is rated for 380v, so if the lathe is running at the highest speed, it trips the inverter. The inverter did the job as advertised. It seems that the inverter is not the cause of the problem. This device was relatively simple to program the instructions included in the manual made it easy to navigate. If you plan to connect a motor, you need to know the motor's input power (there is a formula to convert are possibly a few other parameters that need to be set to program it correctly, but like I said, it was pretty simple. Thank you for my purchase. I am very satisfied. In a few years, we can see how it holds up.

It's a great value and comes with good To run 220 volt 3-phase electric motors, I use these Currently, a couple of single phase motors, powered by 220v, have been up and running for 2 years now without issue
