Florida Pneumatic FP-706K General Purpose Scraper Kit

In addition to scraping sections off a metal roof that had been foamed on the outside, I also had to apply an epoxy to the roof. As soon as I saw this unit online and read how it was used (to scrape gaskets), I thought it would be perfect. Sturdy and well made, this unit has a lot of functionality. I would need to sharpen the blades to get it to work as I would like. My solution was to simply do the work by hand. Using an ice chisel, I went ahead with the rough work first, and then with a flat wood chisel for the smoothing out. Possibly, I can use this unit for some other purposes. I plan on keeping it around my shop and using it for some experiments, as well as sharpening one or more blades to see what I can do with it.

It was right on time for me to receive my scraper. Until now, I'm finding it to be exactly what I need. Worked like a charm. It has not been an issue for me.

You can put it through its paces and it will keep going. There was an issue with an overage Set screw that has been torqued. The company sent me replacement parts within a couple of days when I called for one. The tool provided by these folks is great. I highly recommend it!.

A big part of my dad's delight is his insistence on buying high-quality As a diesel mechanic, he hates scraping gaskets, especially at his age. I bought him this to avoid scraping gaskets. It's so great that I'm not scraping with a hand scraper anymore. I was at the shop at the time he was using it. I would say it's well constructed for the price and for 70 bucks, you can't go wrong.

My return is being processed right away. I attempted to unscrew the bolts that hold the blade to the hub but they were too tight. Describe a location. There is a wrench included in the kit that can be used for this. Their refusal to budge did not faze them. The average adult male that I am is a reasonably strong worker and has one child- This bolt kicked my bottom while I was working out with weights. The process resulted in a strain in my groin. Using a power driver with a hex attachment worked for me. Despite my best efforts, there is I highly recommend you do not purchase this item unless you can bench press 450 pounds. In addition, the provided nipple is not quick release and is thus useless for most compressors.
