Questions & Answers

Does this work with a 3/8" or 1/2" chuck? One reviewer thought it matched the first, while another thought it matched the second. Thanks! ?

Both sizes of chucks will work fine. I prefer 3/8" cordless drills because they are compact and lightweight, but as others have stated, if the shank fits a 3/8" chuck, it will most likely fit a 1/2" chuck.

Is it possible to use an impact drill for this?

Thank you for reaching out to us with your query. The CC2100 bits have a 1/4" shank, which is standard on most Impact drill/drivers. Do you have a magnetic bit holder?

The bit holder isn't magnetic; instead, it has a built-in spring that keeps the bits in place.

What is the hex size of the chuck?

Thank you for reaching out to us with your query. The CC2100 Chuck adapter works with power groove accessories that have a 1/4" hex shank. Please contact one of our Bosch Customer Service Representatives if you have any additional questions. 877- BOSCH- 99 (1- 877- 267- 2499)

The bit chuck is a great, solid piece of equipment that runs smoothly
5/5

This bit holder is perfectly in the middle and securely holds the bits. I've had no problems using it with both drill bits and the screw driver bits that came with it. It appears to be more durable and user-friendly than the Ryobi bit holder I previously used. When removing the bit from the Ryobi bit holder, there is a spring "kick" to the release that can send the bit flying out of the holder. The Bosch holder has a smoother release action, with the collar simply sliding down instead of ejecting the bit halfway across the room. Although it lacks the "shock and awe" factor associated with flying drill bits, I find this type of release to be easier and faster.

Difficult I've tried every single one of them
5/5

But this is the best! It's well-engineered with tight tolerances, but it's not sticky in the least. This is designed to fit a drill chuck with a diameter of 3/8" or greater. It's not a 1/4-inch quick connect, which can be perplexing. This has a bigger shank than a 1/4 quick connect. For straight shanks, it should only be used with an old-style screw-down chuck. It's dynamite once it's in place, with an intuitive and crisp release. br>br> Any 1/4 inch quick connect bits are automatically pushed out, but only about 1/4 inch, allowing them to be easily pulled out the rest of the way. In fact, it enables one-handed operation. The bit has been removed. Sweet! br>br>There isn't even a smidgeon of a wobble on this. Dead on. When I want to use quick change bits, I run one on my Bosch PS11 variable angle drill, and it's a great combination. Another is a Bosch 12v hammer/drill that I use. This is a fantastic match. br>br>This Bosch quick change also works well with my Milwaukee hammer/drill combo, which has a traditional hand twist tighten chuck. It is not compatible with Milwaukee's impact or dedicated drills. The M12 Impact comes with a 1/4-inch mount release, and the dedicated drill comes with its own 1/4-inch quick release. br>br>On the back of the shank, you'll find two release/locking bearings. I applied a drop of oil to each to protect it and keep it in good condition. This Bosch Click-and-Go is something I'd recommend to anyone. Change without a second thought. The bits, particularly the square shank for driving concrete and heavier wood specialty screws, are an added bonus. It's a good deal at $8. There is no shipping charge.

The Best Adapter on the Market
5/5

I've tried them all, and this is by far the best drill chuck adapter I've found. By chucking a bit with one hand, it is securely held and will not fall out. Even the non-quick change bits, such as the small short ones, can be difficult to remove without a pair of needle nose pliers. All of the others I had were thrown out. The only thing that could be improved is to make it thinner so that it could fit into a smaller space, but this is a minor issue.

The product is made in the United States and is of good quality
5/5

I had no idea these existed until now; previously, whenever I used a bit on my drill driver, I would simply remove it from the chuck, which wasn't a big deal but was inconvenient if you were switching screws or drill bits. This quick change has a nice overall construction that feels more solid than other brands I've purchased. The shaft is thicker than the standard hex style used in many impact drivers, which is one of the reasons. I like how well this worked with the longer bits, and the single change was effective. br>br>Another advantage is that the item is manufactured in the United States, but it is shipped from China. It's worth noting that longer bits can be used, but short bits will not work. I actually bought some of the more expensive versions, but I prefer this one because it has a larger grip area and is less expensive.

The most effective solution for quick changes
5/5

Forget about the bits, which are perfectly fine, but forget about them anyway. This may be the best quick change chuck on the market. I used to be able to buy them at the big box stores, but now I have to order them online. I've misplaced a few, given away a few, but I've never broken a single one. The fact that this chuck can be used one-handed is the best feature. The majority of quick change chucks are nothing more than a spring-loaded ring. With one hand, pull it up and hold it there while the other removes and replaces the bit; the chuck locks open when the old bit is ejected and locks closed when the new bit is inserted. It is not necessary for you to keep the ring on your finger. The mechanism is much better. More protected. You will not be sorry if you own one.

Most effective fast-food restaurant In the universe, chuck should be changed
5/5

I gave away my other chucks (including a $60 model) after purchasing this one because I couldn't stand wearing them. It has only one-br>br> It's easier to switch hands with, but it also holds drill bits more steadily than any other quick change chuck I've used. Most of them are too shallow, and the wobble you get when drilling is terrible (I'm lazy, so I used it anyway, which is bad for precision and your drill bits). br>br>I've owned and used at least four different quick change chucks, and this one is by far the best. In every way, he stands head and shoulders above the rest. This is the model to get if you want to change your life with a quick change chuck.
