Using a 25 lb drill head, I am using a monster of a drill. It would be impossible to beat the bedrock with these pieces. There is no limit to the number of My hole was 16" deep, 2 1/2" wide, and 2 1/2" thick. From start to finish, it took anywhere from one to five minutes from start to finish depending on the bed rock's hardness. In order to test drilling a pilot hole, I used a 1 inch bit after drilling a few holes. There was nothing that could stop this bit from cutting through the rock lick. Following the 2 1/2" bit, I finished up. As a result, we cut down the drilling time to a constant minute or so per hole, and the 2,5-inch drill bit also made light work of the rock.
