In and of itself, no. However, you could drill a lot of holes and use root killer to kill the roots.

You really do get what you pay for. I've tried cheaper bits, but you don't get a lot for your money. Spend the small amount extra and get a quality bit when you consider the costs of down time, replacement, etc. The bits I've ordered from them have been of great quality, and the customer service is fantastic. As part of my project, I'm drilling pattern holes in a concrete wall so that I can remove the concrete and create a 6x6 inch conduit wall. There is an inch thick wall on the other side. The bits used to last 15 holes before they become dull, but recently I have only been able to get 2 holes from one bit The holes are 3 inches. There will be no questions asked by Bosch about the replacement bit. This is a great.
During a project, I bought the 18" drill and a 12" bosch drilling machine, which I used to drill quarter-inch holes through cinder block so I could run low voltage cable In spite of some double wide block walls with 18 inch gaps, it had little trouble getting There was some flex in the 18" drill when applying pressure, but that is to be expected, especially if you are not pushing In spite of that, the drill drilled without a hitch. I was very pleased with the tip. It's a good item, and I would buy it.
I was able to pass through an eight-inch concrete wall with little effort.
With this, I was able to drill through footers under what was I drilled 16 inches in a short amount of time.
An excellent drill bit is all you need. I had a little patience as I made my way through the block.
Using a good drill is necessary in order for the bit to work properly. When I didn't know these things, I tried using my multipurpose drill without success. However, I got results after buying the correct It would be nice if you knew this before you assumed it was not working.
As usual, a good show.
With the Bosh drill, they bore cleanly and roundly. The drill bits wear well, and I expect that they will last for many drilling sessions with decent care.
