DEWALT 18V Battery, NiCd Pod Style, 2.4-Ah (DC9096)

Definitely, I should have bought no-name cheap battery sets, these would not hold a charge after the first 6 months, and now they won't charge and don't work. Had the same batteries that came with my DeWalt set for 15 years, and these are trash! There is no doubt that this one feels cheated to me.

Having bought some off-brand batteries to replace our dying DeWalt 18V batteries, we made the mistake of buying these The last time is the last time The price you pay for the service you receive is really what you get. Although fully charged, they were not powerful enough to operate the drill for longer than a couple of minutes. Nor were they powerful enough to run the saw for more than a few cuts or to even pull a nail from Thus, we opened our wallets to buy OEM, and have not regretted it since.

In less than a year, this device will not need an external battery. The name of the product is - I had purchased the brand, thinking the quality would be better, but it was the absolute worst investment I ever made. **Update** Dewalt is replacing the battery as per.

I am very pleased with this solution. We are getting ready to move out of the country in two months so I have to use this. By the time we leave, I am going to be able to sell my drill and sawzall. Make use of it instead of adding it So far, I've drilled a few 1 1/8" holes in 3/4" base and a bunch of little holes, and it's working without any problems. Of course, we cannot know for sure how long the project will last.

The cheaper not-labelled brands that I bought off Amazon a number of times consistently failed to function after a couple of charges. I guess I'll have to give up on saving money. Having worked in construction for 40 years, I have used dewalt tools for decades and have always had good luck with real dewalt batteries.

There was no product in the advertisement that I received. The whole experience has been disappointing. It was not until after I had discarded the packaging and used the item that I realized it. This is not a product or dealer we would recommend.
