They were bought so they could be used with a sheared key to lock lug nuts. Almost no grip was available, and the edges of the spiral teeth were easily worn down and I'd rather spend my time and money elsewhere.

It serves the purpose of my application well though it only has 4 sizes and didn't work for my application, and I haven't needed it since, There is a good sense of continuity between edges.

The product seems to be well made and of high I noticed that the sockets were of good quality and are made from materials that seem to be durable and extremely durable. Throughout the sockets, sharp edges grip around the rounded heads of nuts and bolts. We used it to remove a damaged lug nut on a Nissan Versa that would not come loose even though our impact gun rated up to 1200 pounds of force. There was no tell-tale sign of what the dealer had used to tighten the lug nuts.

Even though the tool would have made a great tool for 95% of the tasks it was designed for, it ripped To remove it, I eventually had to drill the lug stud out. My problem with the tool was immediately resolved by the supplier after he saw my review. As I understand, there is no one-size-fits-all fix that will prevent all problems with every application, and the vendor went above and beyond to alleviate my problems. Your kind words are appreciated.

One of the lug nuts on my truck is broken. This is the type of tool I bought in hopes that it would bite into and pull off It was a STRIPPED socket! do not want to say that it's useless and I wasted my money, but the lug nut is still on my truck, I wasted my money on this item, and I now have a strip/useless nut & I are out hundred dollars. An extraction tool for bolts.

Even with removing the nuts from the studs, I was still unable to remove them. Turns out the previous owner had used red (permanent) thread lock!.

I had difficulty gripping it and placed it on the metal edge where it was dulled and smeared. While I would have assumed the spiral in the tool would tighten on the nut to be removed with a left hand, it was the opposite, allowing slippage. An ineffective use of funds.

Having this tool made removing these nuts much easier. I would never have been able to do it without it!.
