The bits are not magnetic in themselves, but they acquire magnetic properties when they are inserted into the tool.
Selection of bits. The James Bond Driver, or KK25, has slotted and phillips bits. It's one of Wera's most popular items, and they have it on sale a few times a year. A slotted, phillips, and pozidriv bit configuration is available on a couple of KK20 models. A KK20 model with slotted, phillips, pozidriv, and a single torx bit is also available.
With so many options, why use a tool like this for impact? In a pinch, yes, but not on a regular basis. It is, however, an extremely useful screwdriver set, and I use it all the time when I'm not sure which driver I'll need or if I'll need more than one, but don't want to bring all of my screwdrivers with me.

Wera screwdrivers and tools have long been a favorite of mine. Very well-made products, with which I have been completely satisfied up to this point. I was disappointed when I received this screwdriver. The driver itself appears to be on par with the company's other offerings. The bits are sturdy and have a good bite to them. The spring action is smooth and precise, and it performs as expected. My one complaint, which may be significant to some, is that the "rubbery" grip on the handle does not feel the same as it does on other Wera drivers. I'm not sure if the substance has changed or if this particular tool is defective. It's difficult to put into words how it feels, but it's something like twisting off the top of a lightly oiled bottle. I don't think the grip is slick, but it doesn't have the same "tackiness" that other drivers do, and I'm curious if other drivers feel the same way.
Don't be put off by the higher price if you're looking for a great tool for everyday use. Wera's tools are extremely well-made. I can't tell you how many times I've tried to loosen a screw with a screwdriver that has slipped. These suggestions are fantastic, and having them all in one place makes it a must-have in my office. Since getting this quality tool, I've only used it to open a can of paint, so I could toss most of my standard cheap screwdrivers. I would strongly suggest it. I intend to continue purchasing Wera tools as I replace older ones.
I have both a Kraftform Kompact 20 and a Kraftform Kompact 28. I bought the 28 for work after realizing that I needed something to get me into tighter spaces than the 20 (yes, I could have just bought additional extensions, which I did, but I like going into my tool bag and pulling out the 28 without having to pull out an additional extension, plus I'm a tool junkie ;) )), but the 20 is adequate for most household tasks, and I keep it with one of my cordless drills so that I can use the removable blade when I need a little more reach with my drill.
This is the most amazing screwdriver tool set I've ever seen! It is not a flimsy tool, but rather a sturdy one.
This is a fantastic screwdriver. It has a comfortable grip and keeps bits in the handle. In my arsenal, I have a useful tool!.
Wera is one of my favorite characters, but I wish this one was ratchet.
One is for the Pelican, while the other is for the home. Wera's new tool of choice. Flathead screws are held in place by the flatheads. This small but powerful tool is one of my favorites.
Ok Good.
