Questions & Answers
Impact on tool is a tool that you can use?
While I have not tried it, I am sure you can do so as long as you don't overdo One of the biggest problems is getting into tight spots.
It will be able to break a wheel lock, right?
There's a special socket that tire shops use to lock the tire on to Nevertheless, it is taken off even though it is destroyed. There will be no way for you to get a nut splitter into that space. It is advisable to purchase a lug nut to replace the wheel lock, then take it to a tire shop to have it removed
Is this safe to use What kind of wear and tear would they endure?
I haven't tried them yet, so I can't say for sure As of now, they are still in my toolbox. Prior to receiving these fasteners, penetrating oil and heat had been used to "persuade" them. As stainless threads can be problematic even under the best conditions if they are not coated with an anti-corrosion agent The compound of seize will likely This is where they weld themselves to the opposite line. I wish you success on whatever project you are working on!
Do you know of anyone who has split a nut on both sides? As if forming two halves, I have a nut on stripped threads that just spins. ?
It will be possible to remove the nut by splitting one side. It is possible to set the tool over the nut if you can set it completely over it

Every single one of these broke the first day I used it
Purchasing a nut splitter that has both a stationary chisel and a moving anvil is the best decision. During each of these, the set screw that was supposed to prevent the chisel from rotating as it was being moved forward was missing. It is possible to buy nut splitters with a stationary chisel from Amazon. That design of nut splitter you should buy! The following are excerpts from the text.

One nut was enough to last for a while
To split two nuts, I had to use a hammer. used the mid-size splitter for the first game and was able to complete it pretty easily. As a result of the broken retaining pin on the second nut, the splitting bolt became misaligned. It's now impossible to split the nut with the bolt when it slips. There needs to be a stronger design for the retaining pins. This is a great option if you need them for the short-term, but if you plan on keeping them for a long time, consider investing in a more durable.

Delete this item from your cart
A rusty, rusted nut was attempted to be removed using proper precautions an impact driver was not used on this item, however, it wouldn't have mattered since the materials used are This tool fails to hold the nut because the metals just warp and the chisel cracks because the metal just warps. This tool was put to use on multiple nuts and bolts, but it did not last even after the first. IF YOU USE EEEKIT Metal Nut Splitter, USE IT WITH CAUTION.
On the truck I was working on, the EEEkit nut splitter was ineffective
On that truck, there was not a crack in even one nut. As a result of its straight cutting edge, the EEEkit splitter is less effective at penetrating metal than a splitter with an angled cutting There is no way to prevent the cutting edge from rotating under pressure, so that the cutting edge is on a diagonal angle to the flat of the bolt. It will never work that way. There are Craftsman nut splitters I would like to find. Having worked with them in the past, I know they are effective.

When it doesn't work, it is great
There was a nut on my sway bar end link that was in an inconvenient location, and I couldn't use an impact gun to remove So, we decided to explore the possibility of using a nut splitter. The pointy end of the splitter turned when the nut was first turned. It almost split the nut diagonally. There was damage to the nut, but it was not a big deal since I could see that it had split partly. In order to adjust the set screw, I backed off the splitter and straightened the splitter. I went around the first nut several times before it would break into pieces so that it could be removed from the bolt. Then came the second nut, which was further away from the bolt. In addition, this time the splitter was unable to cleanly split the nut. I was able to see how the splitter was getting duller as I circled it in different positions around the nut. I keep breaking the setscrew on the splitter and the circle of the tool starts deforming and becoming ineffective. Then the set screw becomes loose and I can no longer use the tool. Afterward, I tried to finish the job with a dremel for six hours. I think the nut splitter might be able to Once the item is used a few times, it isn't worth keeping and becomes discarded. It probably takes more than one just to accomplish one task.

The first use of the product caused it to break
On a seized control arm, I split a nut with a 3/4-inch socket. Breaker bar pressure is all that is felt, no impact. There was a snapping of the guide screw and a twisting of the chisel. It was possible to replace the screw and try again, but the chisel snapped after another rotation. There is no way to hit anything hardened by this thing because it is made of soft metal. Invest in better furniture. There's nothing good about these.

The nut was too stubborn to be removed
There was a tight fit around the top nut of my 2012 Prius rear shock absorber and it wouldn't budge. It required a socket with a breaker bar on the tool that I used<extra_id_21> of a nut cracker that was the largest. When I kept tightening it, I didn't know which would break first, the tool or the nut, but I heard something snap and I am glad to say that it was the nut that snapped. My new shock absorber needed some torque to properly unscrew the nut, and I had to use a wrench to maintain an allen-key hold on the shaft. The nut proved to be fairly stubborn, but I finally managed to remove it and install it. With the other shock absorber, it was similarly challenging to loosen the nut. However, I was eventually able to remove it with the help of an allen key and a wrench. It was great to have this tool since I sprayed the threads on the nut and shaft of the shock absorbers, as well as the tool itself when I received it, before using it with WD-40.

THOSE ARE WRONG FOR YOU! DON'T SPEND YOUR TIME OR YOUR MONEY ON THEM! It is abundantly clear that these products will not meet the declared "PROFESSIONAL-grade" claims An exquisite piece of work
It is of premium quality, or it is easy to use. There is a set screw used in a very loose channel on the chisel to attempt to guide it into place. These chisels are extremely POOR quality at best. The chisel has so much SLOP between the channel and the set screw, and between the chisel and tool body, that it rotates and binds and fails to contact the nut at a right angle for splitting without another tool or your fingertips. On several of the pictures, the set screws have been removed from the splitters! If this were done, the chisel would fully rotate while taking on the nut to split. You will not be disappointed! Please do not waste your time and money, as I did, on these poor excuses for PROFESSIONAL PREMIUM QUALITY.
