In 1958, I built a Chevy with a 24. That would seem to be large enough, but I can understand how a 30 might work well as well. The advice I give is only based on my own experience, since I am not an expert

Large panels can be restored with this tool

Whenever I restore mid 60's muscle cars, I use this block to straighten them out. As this block is 2 feet long, you have to think about how best to hold it in order to keep it level. It happens that a few people do not grasp the concept and leave a lower rating.

Generally speaking, I had a difficult time sanding large areas evenly on a truck door. It was a welcome solution to have Long Sanding Blocks. I was able to have the quality of result I wanted because the quality of the product is excellent.

Wonderful block

I like it a lot. This is the first block that was the exact size we were looking for. Durablock should have some sort of picture so that we can all see the actual size. Apart from that, I think this is probably the one you'll want if you're going to attempt to guess like I have been. There are too many other small ones.

You need this block if you work on the body

When you are painting your car, you need to do body work right so that you are happy with the result. The reason why block sanding is called body work is that it's not fun or comfortable. However, you are better off putting in the effort to make your work a real deal if you want it to be done right.

The number of DuraBlocks I have now is eight. Despite my lack of restoration experience, I know this set of sanding blocks is essential to doing a good job sanding. I like this one a lot.

Bondo can be easily sanded down with this! I found that this block made a big difference in smoothing bondo and primer It was not until after I blocked with 40 grit on this first block that I could see how wavy the bodywork was, resulting in the need for filler after some additional flattening work
