Pliers such as this can be used for a variety of household tasks. Unfortunately, I nearly could not use them because I was unable to remove them from the very TOUGH plastic card on which they were sold. With a knife, it's impossible to cut. I tried a razor blade with no success (luckily I didn't cut myself). In the end I had to saw through the much-harder wood to get them off That's too much- The zip ties should be tightly fitted with a very sharp knife. Amazon really needs to include these in one of its "frustration-relieving" products. could get them off the card. Please get this sorted out!.

In spite of this, I went ahead and bought the pliers. This was not a disappointing experience. The tool is very high quality. I found that my new pair is a little smaller than my previous pair, but that was not the tool's fault. No matter how large or small they were, I could not remember their sizes. It may be worth it to purchase a larger pair from the same maker just so that I always have a good pair.

This is ridiculous that Stanley would put their name on it. I couldn't care less about it. As it came out of the forge (in China), it looks as though it hadn't been touched. This is not the best pliers to buy. You can get a better pair at the Dollar Store. Invest a few dollars more and get a Husky, and at least you'll get a product of good quality.

I like it because it's sturdy and just the right size.

With their help, I was able to take care of a number of household tasks. Little pliers like these are very useful. Be sure to measure things first if you need something done so you won't be disappointed if we end up having to redo something. It is clearly indicated what is the maximum amount of opening for the mouth. As described, everything turned out to be in the same condition It is your own fault that reviews of size are poor. Sorry to say that.

I like how they are small, light, yet sturdy, and don't slip out of my hand when I use them. For most of the projects I do, the 6" size is ideal.

Since my shower head developed a leak, it was several years old, so I decided to buy a new one. couldn't find my pliers, so I searched all over for them. Having got these slip joint pliers from my son, who is a Mr. Fixit, was a good recommendation. It's a Stanley tool, which is a good name in tools, and this tool worked great for my project. I was able to remove the existing shower head with little trouble, and I attached the new shower head with very little effort. Now that the pliers were used, there is a tight seal, and no more It is recommended. The latest priority is 09-Prisrob.

When I bought a cheap pair of pliers from the dollar store, I thought they would be perfect for my needs. However, the "metal" started deteriorating after a few years. I can attest to the excellent quality of these.
