It can cut steel wire up to 1/16" in diameter or copper wire up to about 10 gauge.
These tools are amazing and I love them so much! You can roll up the cloth cases and store them out of sight with the case. These are the tools I keep in my vehicle for roadside repairs. I've been using the handles for a couple months and they've held up so far. Aside from the price, there is nothing negative about this product. Other, cheaper options are available, but it seems like the tools on this page are meant to last. Today is a rare time in which that is the case. The extra money spent on quality is well spent. You should press the helpful button if you are having trouble.
If I return them, I will sand the plastic with 80 grit and dip the handles in liquid PlastiDip polyvinyl tool handle coating, or I will wrap them in tennis racket grip strips.
The set I bought is no exception to my rule of never buying a tool made by Irwin that I was unsatisfied with. I am very pleased with the tool quality, and it is very well made. Despite its sharp teeth, the jaws are capable of gripping tightly. Cutting the biscuits with the cutters is like cutting I think this is a really good As my daughter is buying her first house, and she will have to purchase tools, I bought this set as a way to prevent her from taking all my tools.
The wrap keeps them together and gives them a professional appearance on the A lot of people wanted to know where I bought them and complemented me on my choice. It's awesome that the price is so low. A quality tool is not an option, it is a necessity when it comes to my field. This is the best of the best.
The hand tools are well made, they have a good weight to them, and they fit nicely in the hand. This is an excellent set of tools. They come oiled, and everything comes in a roll up bag, which is a real keepsake. A great deal of quality craftsmanship has gone into making this product. Since it is so strong, tools won't be able to make holes in it. Furthermore, there is still room in the bag for maybe one or two more smaller hand tools. Blue heavy canvas is really nice to look at. On Amazon, there is no picture of the bag that does it any justice. The tools are not cheap at all once you hold them -- I don't have any idea where they are made, but you can tell once you pick them up that they are not cheap at all. Although there are more expensive handtools out there, these weren't cheap by a long shot and well worth the price I paid. I even think the regular price was well worth the price I paid. Besides having measurement markings, I also like that the wrench is sturdy. There is probably no reason you need it
but it's an interesting My purchase of IRWIN exceeded my expectations, and I will definitely buy again in the future!.
The majority of them are made in the United States. Originally from Connecticut, Decker is a real estate agent. The majority of Craftsman tools come from China now, so that is one of the main reasons to buy them. Craftsman is owned by Stanley now, which ironically makes sense.
The last time I used them, I made a mental note to replace them, but I never took action until I saw this set on My immediate reaction was to torque something as soon as I opened the package and had them in my hands. It felt good to hold the grips because I do not have a small hand. For the first time after using a set of old hand tools for years, these Irwin pliers are phenomenal. When I first used this set, I didn't realize my old set was so clunk. Thanks to its sharp jaws, I find myself picking up smaller pieces with half the effort. It was time to cut some nylon strips and before I had to chew through them with my old diagonal cutter, rocking from side to side As you white knuckle the handles, this one snaps through them like a pretzel. This set of tools is not only of top-notch quality, but the heavy wrap up pouch is an asset. I hope that now you have a better understanding of all the things you can do with.
