Questions & Answers

Do the first two wrenches look too thick? I would have expected them to be more like the third one. Does this mean they are ?

Ha ha! These are sturdy, serviceable angle saws, and all the employees in the shop tend to borrow them often. Adding this tool kit to your collection will be a great idea!

Country of origin What is it?

I agree with Wu Huang, Taiwan is a great place. The tools are exceptionally well made and as far as the rest of the junk goes, there is nothing better than making them in the USA, Taiwan or China.

Is there a tray with them?

We regret to inform you that

In what ways is the warranty offered? What is the current warranty policy? Is it our lifetime limited warranty, or something shorter 30 days, 90 days, 1 year, etc?

A lifetime warranty is stated on the back of the package. Contact information is also included. The tools are of great quality.

In a short period of time, these tools will pay for themselves
5/5

If you are still unsure about whether or not to buy them, just go ahead and get them because they will pay you back very quickly. I work in a Ford/Nissan dealership and I am thankful these exist. Since I was a flat rate customer, I used to waste a lot of time trying to get these body clips out. I would be lost without these tools. They are time consuming, frustrating, and almost impossible without them. The old me would just break them and never look back to see whether they can be repaired. It is possible to pull these pesky clips out with these tools, and not only can you reuse them, but you can prevent time-consuming digging through your toolbox for replacement clips and start working on your next project instead of digging through your toolbox for the one that will do the job. In spite of the abuse I give these tools, they still work very well, I not only hold them to a high standard but I can also say that these tools are built to last and I haven't had any problems with them.

You are guaranteed to hear less cussing

You know that feeling when you buy a new tool and wonder how you Back in 1997, when I purchased my first set of Gear Wrench wrenches, I felt exactly the same way. Gear Wrench tools have become a favorite of mine, and I plan on buying more soon. In the past, and still today, I balked at the cost of some of the tool sets. Anyhow, I hate plastic automotive fasteners, so it's my biggest complaint about the Gear Wrench brand of wrenches. As a result of the Among other things, they must have thought of the pine trees, pin rivets, and whatever else they could consider. The thing that I dislike the most about removing them is removing them. Can you explain? All I can do is try to clean them up, but they just get junked. They're not all irritating, but enough of them to drive me crazy. In fact, I have even used the tiniest prying tool, but at least one of them looks like the dog chewed it afterwards. The last time I used it, I used it on a few plastic fasteners on my car. While it was somewhat ridiculous having a tool for something like this, I had to say Despite the fact that I had two different types, I was able to remove them without damage The same thing happens more than once. It is impossible for me to recommend these highly enough if you are in the same position as me. This will be of great benefit to you.

This did not work with Hondas
3/5

Designed to slip under body clips that have two slots on the outer ring to allow the large head of the pliers to slide under the push pins, these pliers are meant for body clips that have two slots on the outer ring. With Honda, the ring consists of a solid piece of metal. In neither set did we get the push pin under the ring to pop it up. Although the pryer set was almost able to get under it, it did not work as well as it should have. Those clips will not work if there are no slots in the body.

It's awesome to have these things! ETCG has been very helpful to me
5/5

We saw these used on Eric The Car Guy's channel on YouTube, and decided to pick them up. It's hard to see in the video, but the jaws have a slight angle on the inside, so that as you squeeze them onto the clip, they're also forcing it up at the same time! The BEST tools I've bought in a long time! This was necessary because I was changing a headlight bulb on a '12 Rogue, outside, at 14°F, and needed the plastic intake duct out of the Cold and plastic don't mix, but I got all the plastic push-carts on my way to work The pins pull out of these without a hitch. This book is most definitely.

I am dumbfounded
5/5

Having been searching for easier ways to remove broken or otherwise stuck car fasteners, I purchase this tool and it may be the best investment I have ever made. In the past I have used cheap metal and plastic pry bars With fastener kits, you get solutions that look like bars. The pressure was applied to the interior surfaces and either completely insufficient or ended up scratching them. It is a dream come true having these car fastener extraction tools available. It is a simple, effective, and hassle-free process. Highly recommended.

Here are some tips to help you save time
5/5

The plastic plugs in my Honda cars and bikes keep getting older, so I have started to use flat edge screw drivers, and as the plastic plugs get old, I punch them, and eventually I just use About six times of plug removal began to cause the plugs In a Honda after 200k, I just had to change things like the water pump, the radiator fan, the fan temperature sensor, the thermostat, the alternator, the starter, and then the I used these for about a month and they all failed one after the other. When I took them out, the plugs looked as good as My Honda has been in perfect working order for 14 years, so I decided it was time to replace it.

Must-have for anyone who needs to perform DIY car repairs
5/5

These body clip set pliers are another tool you will need if you work on cars right now with all the plastic that is under the hood and you have to remove it to do most jobs (except for oil changes). It's no longer necessary to buy those pesky little clips that used to break and had to be replaced at a cost of about $3 to $5 apiece. After a couple of jobs themselves, these tools will pay for themselves and keep your customers happy, since you won't be adding extra charges without their consent.

The product is great when used for the purpose for which it was designed
5/5

The tabs on the body of my car had to be removed as I was taking it apart. After trying with a screwdriver or pliers for quite some time, I just kept breaking them (they were just 15 years old, and the heat in Florida has caused them to weaken). Using this kit, however, it was able to remove every single one without breaking any I really like your work. You can tell it is quality stuff because it is well made.
