I'm updating that review today. originally gave it 2 stars because when I put a Mora Knive with a 4" blade in it, the sharpness of the blade actually cut into the leather on the closed side where it is too tight to lay the knife on. Then I thought, ok, I won't put a really sharp knife in there. I can actually tear the leather with my fingers now that I realize it. Someone I know makes custom guitar straps out of leather. It was he who showed me what it was really like. There is no real leather in this. It was then that I noticed the exact same type of sheath at a local sporting goods store, priced at You can find all sorts of things in the 00 bargan bin they have. Do NOT engage in this activity. There's no point in spending even one dollar on it.

The leather is low quality, but I appreciate it nonetheless. I like that it's cheap but it has good functionality. It fits my Mora Companion perfectly.
The leather is not high quality, but the loop is large and I like that. It fits a belt of 1 1/2 inches with plenty of room. Leather does not slide around much since it is made of leather. Since it's not stitched in, it becomes quite easy to modify the button leather strap. While I think there is not much I can do to improve the horrible sheath of my favorite knife, the Mora Companion series fits the bill perfectly.

This leather bag has a lovely basketweave design on the While the leather is not very soft, I do not mind this as I think it will get softer with time and use. We need to oil a little. The construction is very well done. In order to use an old kabar 5" blade stainless steel bowie drop point, I needed a new sheath. In comparison to the original sheet from Kabar, this one was a little larger and longer. I, however, think I will be able to get along with the fit. Here are a few additional details. Should anyone be considering this sheath as an extra carry option for their Esse 4 we suggest you check it out. In my opinion, you wouldn't be able to fit your Kabar BK2 inside either. Thank you for reading this review! I hope some of it helped you!.

Although it costs a lot, it is really good for the money and is also beautiful. Picard Leather Conditioner was applied to the dry leather, so it probably could have been used as is, but I still used this leather conditioner to soften it. I like how the strap and snap hold my knife well and keep it in place. This sheath has proved to be very durable, with no problems so far, and I think it looks good too.

There was a crack running nearly the full length of the leather retention strap about an inch from the snap. It appears to be dry and to have been folded over for a long time. Additionally, the leather near part of the bottom of the strap was not just unfinished, it was roughed up. Featuring a blade diameter of 4 inches, and a sheath from my Morakniv Bushcraft. It sat tight and had an easy fit around the handle. The retention strap fit easily around the handle. Excellent workmanship, sturdy rivets, solid stitching, and a generous belt loop that fit my utility/tool belt. I will not be ordering again, as this is the second time this item has been purchased by me.

Has a snap and a sheath that fits the Mora 2000 like a glove. Sheath is made from some kind of leather that is unknown, and it is thick enough The edge has been stitched and riveted. You can adjust the snap for different grips and it is removable. It is possible that the sheath arrived bone dry as a result of some aspect of the storage or manufacturing process. In order for the leather to become supple enough to be used and abused, you'll need to hydrate it with oil. In addition to the mink oil I use on my leather boots, I tossed a coat over it and it absorbed it immediately and wears like new. According to the rivets, the blade does not come into contact with the stitching because the rivets pinch the leather enough. less than the price of a happy meal, you can also get this great knife sheath to work for you.

Sheath made from leather is nice. Capable of changing color and returning to its original hue The dye is applied to It fit my Mora bushcraft almost perfectly, but I didn't like the plastic Mora sheath that came with it. It worked, but I am glad to find such a good This product has good craftsmanship and is of high quality. There is no doubt that this will last me quite some time.
