As with all other Estwing products, I expected an American-made hammer, only to discover when it arrives it's made in Taiwan- shame on Estwing, but it does what I need it to do.

A great medium weight hammer, this one will take up a little less space in my smaller toolbox. Whenever I need a hammer, I use this one. This hammer never disappoints me. My plan is to purchase an additional one so that I can keep it For the money, this is an excellent hammer.

The good thing about a small hammer is you don't need to squeeze it in your hand. Great hammer. I wanted one smaller than a ball peen and found that Estwing made a line of sizes that was perfect for me. I use this hammer for small projects and tasks that don't require a heavy-duty hammer like a 24 oz. I really enjoy using it. I do not see how it could ever come loose since it fits so nicely into the steel hammer head. This ball peen hammer line is made in China, which is the only reason I gave this product 4 stars. Since most of Estwing's products are made in the U. S. A. , this would have been a 5 star product if it had been made in the U. S. A.

This is a Taiwanese made product. The diameter of the handle is smaller It looks as if it is a regular hammer with smaller grips. The handle reminded me of the toy tools my son had when he was a child.

This item is made by an outstanding American company, but it is a poor quality. I found the handle to be very loose on the head. The item is being returned.

It is always a positive experience when we work with Estwing- My order arrived just in time, and it always feels good to support American manufacturers. I send my best regards to Joshua, Semper Fi.

does what it is supposed to do -- hammer things.

The handle is smooth, and the balance is good.
