I would say the red file next to the tool is the original diamond file. I imagine the red file has the same durability as a diamond file 5 times. The product is manufactured in Korea under the Samick brand. There are two pieces of the red one each costing about $2 In Korea, 3dollars are the equivalent of 60 cents. My experience with these is not great they don't work well on wood, basswood to be precise. The sets of files I buy at harbor freight for $3 produce better results for me. In my opinion, the titanium coating on the diamonds has rendered them unable to file wood away. For metals, such as brass and aluminum, they don't provide any better performance. Except for the flat, each shape in the set is twice as many as the other two. I would never buy from this company.

There are several complaints about this product, with the main complaint being the size of the handles and the fact that there isn't a profile of the files on the storage pouch so I can pick them out quickly. However, other than that, they have worked ok up to now and are small enough to go.

These are used almost every time I do a project. They never dull and I use them over and over By having so many shapes, I always have something suitable to do for any project I may be working on. I have saved money by not buying sanding sticks, which are only useful for part of a project at most.
