The handle moves with the base when it is struck, but the tool itself is sturdy

A mallet/hammer is enough to tap the handle back into place. It doesn't move much and can be tapped back into place. The knife was a little duller than I expected, but since I don't do floors it might have just been by design.

It is well constructed and of good It makes a loud sound similar to that of a tuning fork when I hammer the chisel because of its sharpness

I was unable to use this tool on an easy floor tile due to its lack of sharpness. Was a waste of money. The quality of the DVD was poor. A handle and hammered steel are all you need.
