Yes, it can be used in this manner or to wire individual branches and trunks. One trick I learned was to press the wire against the branch you want to wire and if it bends, go up a gauge until the branch bends. This is how I made my first mistakes. However, when the tree is transplanted, it will be held in the pot. Best wishes and have a great time.

I was hoping for dense wire when I got it because I have a 45-year-old who has been training for 29 years and needs to work on some old growth. The wires flex in the same way that lead soldering wire does. However, as the layer thickness increases, the layer density increases. I was planning on returning it, but it also includes a handy small clipper. and it's a great deal after testing on new growth training.
Prior to today, I had never worked with or used Bonsai Wire. Working with Bonsai Wire was simple and enjoyable for me. For a neat and unique shape, I wanted to shape my fruit trees as they grew. It was a fantastic value. The delivery was extremely quick. Because I wasn't sure what I'd need for each young sprout/sapling, I went with the combination pack. I'm going to place another order.
I'm a complete beginner when it comes to Bonsai trees. I purchased it in order to attempt to make my own. The wire is available in a variety of gauges and is simple to work with. This set is also reasonably priced, and there is plenty of wire to cover up any mistakes. I'll buy it again when I need more wire, and the clippers were excellent.
This product appeals to me because it is available in a variety of gauges (sizes) and includes a wire cutter. It's worked well for me on a number of bonsai projects. These are the ones I've started with, and they're simple to use. What would elevate this to the next level is if it included a tie or rubber band to keep them in place once you've started using them for storage.
My set arrived in a timely manner, and it was well-protected. I've never purchased bonsai wire before, but this set appears to be excellent thus far. All of the thin wire colors appear to have the same stiffness, which is relatively soft. The stiffer the ones are, the thicker they are. I tried out the clippers, and they appear to be very durable and sharp, cutting through all wire thicknesses with ease. They'll most likely be used to clip my plants as well.
I'm glad I did because the wire is of excellent quality and comes with a pair of wire snippers. They were quick to deliver and offered a great price.
I'm very excited because it arrived today. I'll be able to do some bonsai work with my small lemon trees tomorrow. I appreciate the quick shipping from this vendor. The package is beautiful, and the contents are of excellent quality. A lot, to be sure.
This is a very simple product to use, and the results are fantastic. The wire is flexible and cuts easily while maintaining its shape. I'm looking forward to removing it in a few months and seeing the results.
