My siblings all have their own bonsai plants. And we all keep them clean and clipped with this grooming kit. It's a great deal for the eight tools that come in a stylish faux leather pouch with a snap closure. a clasp with buttons Spreading or layering soil with a shovel and spade is a good idea. tweezers for picking up fallen leaves The pruning scissors are ideal for trimming small shoots, while the scissors are capable of handling small, new-growth shoots. branches of development This is an excellent starter kit for bonsai. An additional benefit is that This kit has been cleared by the Transportation Security Administration (TSA). I recently flew to Japan to see bonsai-loving friends. I packed my grooming kit to assist with seasonal grooming for my loving family. In my carry-on bag, I had no trouble getting through security. on bag. If you're a small person, Bonsai, a type of pot gardening, is a family of plants that grow in pots.
These are a LOT bigger (in a good way) than I expected. I was concerned that I would receive flimsy tools, but these are well-made and come with a convenient carrying pouch. They were part of a birthday present for my boyfriend, along with a bonsai tree starter kit. When he first saw these, he mistook me for a nose hair trimmer. So it's possible that this is a multi-faceted situation. Make use of the product!.
This is an attractive set, and I believe it will complement my bonsai collection nicely. The only disappointment was that the rake was not glued to the handle like the other tools; it appears that it was never glued on. To attach it to the post, I'll need to get some glue or a nail, but otherwise, this should be a good set.
This is a fantastically useful kit! I recently bought two small Japanese maples from a Seattle-area Bonsai nursery and had to separate them because they were growing side by side with no space between them. The included rake made separating the roots quick and painless, resulting in almost no damage to the delicate seedlings. I'm looking forward to using this in my future Bonsai projects!.
Excellent value for money! This is a high-quality set, as stated in the description. Given the price I paid for them, I was a little taken aback. The lightness of wood belies its strength. Because the metal is thick, it is difficult to bend. The blades are razor-sharp enough to sever small stems and foliage. I haven't tried them on any thicker branches yet, but I'm guessing that's not the point. Thank you very much.
I like the kit overall, but they included three pruners with a very stiff action; the blades do not slide smoothly to cut, which can easily affect a person's ability to prune cleanly, and I'm afraid to use them for fear of cutting a branch or leaf I didn't intend to cut. br>br>I would easily give this five stars if the pruners were smooth, but all of the pruners are of the same low quality, and that's half the kit:.
The black coating on the mini rake and mini shovels, as well as the majority of the tools in this set, arrived badly scratched. This was supposed to be a gift, but the scratches make it unappealing.
These were purchased to keep my first bonsai tree alive and well. For a grower with more experience and technical needs, I'm sure there are better tools, but these are excellent for getting started. When it came to reporting, I used the clippers to trim some branches and the hand tools to remove excess soil from the roots. They appear to be well-made and will last a long time, so I'm pleased with my purchase.
