I will be back in 7 days. We found 4 out of 12 bulbs to be defective. In this case, the power was run from above an enclosure that was enclosed in a waterproof enclosure, containing the unit. Through an outlet installed by the electrician and covered with greenboard, the power runs to 12 bulbs through a sill plate. After 2 days, 4 of the bulbs stopped Since it was installed, it has been wired above in a location that is no longer accessible. An additional unit will have to be purchased, the wires below the sill plate will have to be cut, and a junction box will need to be added. Due to the fact that I have to cut the wires, GE will no longer warranty the light. Yet, they refused to send me a replacement unit even though I took photos of the light with just 8 bulbs lit. IRON & STEEL IS NOT SUITABLE FOR PURCHASE! This issue was resolved in a less than satisfactory manner by the seller. I have updated The light remains lit after seven days in four out of the 5 bulbs.
Neither a window nor a light is available over my kitchen sink. When I do the dishes, there is a very dark area that constantly casts shadows. This piece was easy to install on top of That area of my kitchen is bright and much more comfortable to look at now that I have pushed a button. The light can even be used just to illuminate my kitchen and living room in the evening. It only casts a black light, not a white one. The light cast by it is WARM and yellowish. If only the light had been whiter, I would have preferred it. I will be able to get by with this for now.
Putting this under typical height cabinet bottoms makes it look extremely sleek and elegant. It's very white and very thin, so it can be hidden very well. I like the feel of the switch as well. However, the tiny screws were too weak and had no large enough heads to screw in after first drilling them out. I would have given 5 stars instead of 4 if not for the insufficient strength and lack of large heads of the screws. North Korean smugglers probably brought these screws out of the country. I am nevertheless very happy with the purchase overall. It is also a great price.
It is the same color as a light I bought that was "warm daylight," rather than this "bright white. " A "warm daylight" that I had previously bought was too yellow, so I bought this one to replace it. This light works just fine if you don't mind the color, which is why it has received four There is a lot of slimness and low profile to it. It is bright enough, but not in the right color. I had an early delivery. I appreciated a decent price, but the color didn't match the description.
The kitchen sink in my house I bought last year does not have a window, and although there is adequate lighting over the sink, I want it brighter. As soon as we moved in, we installed undercabinet lighting in the kitchen. I think it was alright, but it didn't do the trick. However, this light helped me a lot. The difference from under the cabinets is remarkable! I ordered two more for under them and can't believe what a difference they have The display is plain white, but not blinding dark. It is bright enough for you to see what you're doing, but not so bright that it blinds you. I am really happy with these lights and would buy more of them if I needed to. There is only one complaint I have about these, which is that the screws are too small for installation. As well as that, I was unable to get them adjusted properly. There were either too loose, which led to the light slipping off, or too tight, which prevented me from fitting the fixture. Thanks to some Velcro squares, I was able to fix the problem! Having the on/off switch at the end, it shouldn't be a problem for me to move them if necessary, but I should keep in mind that they won't slide. To me, it is a small issue, and I can fix it quickly. Although they come in a variety of sizes, they are a great value for the price, brightness, and variety of colors.
Having two of these 22 inch under cabinet lights in our kitchen is a great addition to the space. In fact, we were so impressed with it that we purchased a 16 inch one to install too. The light they put out is good for working at the counters. In addition, we also installed a 10" one at my desk for better There is a paper template included with them It was pretty simple to install them. In addition, I purchased some clear command clips to hold the cord up under the cabinet so it is not visible.
Even though they are much less expensive than wired LED lights, I installed and wired them like they were wired. I purchased the 16 inch model and was very happy with the results. The price was also very good. Each of these comes with two mounting screws as well as a five foot white cord. Our white cabinets would look great under this unit. Plugging in the lights and measuring and installing mounting screws underneath the cabinets allowed me to verify that the lights function properly. As for any "hard-wired" lighting project, the major challenge is running the wire(s) and installing the switch, but I am adept at doing that. We changed out of our single-parent household To mount the single box underneath the cabinets, I doubled the number of outlets on a wall-mounted box, ran the wire to the cabinets, and mounted the devices well hidden underneath. I needed to clip off the plugs on the power cables and then wire them to the 14 gauge wire I had installed at the junction box. Once that was done all I had to do was mount the wires out of the way underneath the cabinet using decorator staples. The price of "hard wired" units is about 60% less than we paid for our neat, professional installation. In addition, if you would rather use the switch on the unit, then you can just plug these in and use them. However, running a switch and concealed line takes an extra few hours, but the result is a more professional, accessible and convenient installation. It's nice to have these lights. It's a sort of warm white, with a lot of light.
THERE ARE TWO FLUORESCENT BULB FIXTURES IN MY HOME, AND I'VE TRIED TO DISCONNECT THEM. The bulbs in the lamp only lasted a little over a year each. A $9 bill was mailed to me. A FIXTURE AT A TIME. 7 dollars will get you a set of bulbs. The fixtures had previously cost $8 each, but they have now been raised to THE LED FIXTURE IS FRAGILE AND WILL SAVE ME MONEY ON MY ELECTRIC BILL, AND I'LL SAVE ON MY FUEL BILL, TOO The hope is that it will last longer than the two others I have had. THE FIRST TIME I plugged it in, I thought it looked more like the soft white bulbs I used in my house. I CHANGED THE LIGHT TO THE BRIGHT LIGHT I WANTED after a few minutes. The 5,000K daylight fixture I was looking for actually would do okay for what I needed, but I think that the 3000K white will do ok for what I need. A PRINTER IS mounted on top of my desktop computer facing upwards, and it sits there, face up. My white ceiling is bouncing with light and I can see it from so far away I AM NOT BLINDED WITH IT ON.
