There are three lights inside a small bar at my house. The area within which the 'bar' is situated does not have a light source. It shines from below the counter, attached below a cabinet. In spite of it not being quite as bright as a normal light in a room, it provides adequate light for that small counter area. A lip of about 2 inches lies on the cabinet, which I feared would interfere with the motion detector, but the unit has not been affected. The two other lights are attached to the ceiling of the bar area and shine downwards onto the surface of the bar.
