My recommendation is to not buy this product, the plate that attaches to the wall or for mounting is made of cheap plastic, the main light must be turned to the left to lock it into place, and it requires assembly of the main light. that the plate does not lock into place with the base of the light if the light has 4 batteries mounted. If the plate does not lock into place with the base of the light, there is no way to mount it. It seems that the light I purchased cannot be mounted with the materials that came with it. As a result, I need to come up with a different way to mount the light, In 30 different attempts, I tried to lock the light in place on the installation plate on a ceiling, but it never would. Additionally, the cover on the back does not stay locked. I found the product to be quite frustrating.

I am very impressed with this light. It arrived very quickly, and it is better than I expected. There is only one downside to the light, and that is that I need to purchase a battery for it. The motion does not need to be made! The garage overhead door has 2 of these panels that I bought to put on the garage ceiling. I decided to install them on the door itself rather than put them on the wall. They are supposed to help light up dark corners. They're all in it. *I had to be careful when mounting the plate since it is plastic, so the screws needed to be tightened slowly. After putting in four D batteries, my house started to light up! functioned both when the door was open and when it was closed, so it was the better choice. With this light on whenever anything or anyone moves, you won't have to keep looking for it in the garage. The two were mounted, but only one of them was mounted! About 2 months later, the batteries were close to expiring. It's back to daylight in the garage after swapping out the old bulbs for fresh ones. Then again But. Within a week or so, I notice the light in the room Do your batteries already have a dead charge? In this instance, I changed the light when I saw the light would never turn It seemed odd that no matter what, even with weak batteries, it would turn on for about 27 seconds, then shut off for 10 seconds, and then turn back on The system did this no matter how fast or slow the motion was. So yeah, I swapped out for the brand new one that was still in the box. It was the one I hadn't hung on the opposite side of the garage as I had It is great to have this new light! Over the past two We're still trying to figure it out! As with the first light, it had been able to kill the batteries in a ridiculously short time frame, so I watched it as well. As it turned out, it too was cycling instead of working properly. Could it be that the motion sensors need to be replaced? Since they're photocell sensors, there shouldn't be anything to fail, right? There are two of them inside of a grate door that only moves every few hours. Despite being mounted solidly, they do not vibrate like crazy. The idea was to mount them so they could work in any position, and they were intended to work both with the door open or closed. There is no reason I can give these 1 star, since when they were working, they were great! A very bright day! It's not cheap to buy D cells. There is just no way for these to work like they used to. Although it's only been two months, the returns window closed one month after delivery, so I'm not sure if the suspension has been lifted yet. In other words, they get a bad review to warn others about their failure. Several folks have noted their batteries are dying so quickly. You may assume the batteries are functioning as they should, but time the on/off frequency and it will show you, the batteries turn on for 27 seconds, turn off for 10 seconds and turn back on for 27 seconds.
