In my opinion, this is a poor product

It has a bad fit, and the faceplate is a cream color instead of white.

1) the faceplate is not white at all, rather it is cream colored. 2) The mounting bracket that holds the face plate in place does not clip firmly into the bracket once it is installed. This is the second order I've placed for these units, along with a "CLOUDY BAY" CR190 unit. Cloudy Bay's product was, in my opinion, much better because it was more comfortable and the white color of the faceplate was accurate as much as you can get. The Ostwin's didn't fit well for me. I installed two of them. It looks like I'll have to replace them with Cloudy Bays.

Dimmers manufactured by Lutron are not compatible with this product

The Lutron Caseta family of smart dimmers is not compatible with these. Despite what Amazon's webpage states, the Lutron devices do not work, and Lutron cannot provide any assistance. LUTON wants you to use their dimmers for both incandescent and halogen fixtures. The customer support team at Lutron indicates that LED fixtures and bulbs are not compatible with the company's products.

I found installing the system to be straightforward, but I did have to wire existing lights to the new ones. Turn the lights off first and make sure they're off. They're very bright and work well. The brightness of the room had to be controlled by a dimmer switch. It is also possible that light leaks around the housing if the wall socket is not correctly mounted. The tension on the face plate may also need to be adjusted so that the face plate remains in place.
