How do these umbrella lights differ from a pure white umbrella? Latter is more yellowish than the former. ?

Warm white. There is a bit of yellow in it.

Despite my umbrella having four arms, it only has four legs. Would it work with just 4 strands of lights plugged in, or do I have to use all 8 strands of light?

The strands I received arrived attached to one unit, so I assume all 8 strands would have to be used. However you could also use two strands for each arm, depending on the circumstances.

There are a few tiny LED bulbs here. The packaging is very attractive. Each one is rolled up into a little bundle. The lights I use for decorations around the house are similar to that. Our fingers wind them around or around each other to put them away after we've used them. It shouldn't be difficult for them to fold your umbrella if they can handle the abuse.

It is recommended. Is a little time consuming Furthermore, I am glad I read the other reviewers' advice to remove the canopy, remove the umbrella, and sit the bare umbrella frame on the lawn in order to make the process It would be almost impossible to reach to install this if you tried to reach up. But the result will be worth it in the end. Having a six rib umbrella means I have two spare screw on sets, so I'm thankful to have eight screw on sets. There are other sets that do not have the ability to remove.

These lights are awesome! With or without umbrella, they function perfectly. One piece of advice I can offer is to remember to keep a few extra zip ties on hand if you prefer them to lay flat rather than looped.
