Don't open it! Each fairy light is wrapped in a paper bag. After removing the lantern from the package to unwrap them, the lantern cannot be closed sufficiently to ensure a waterproof seal again. It is difficult to get the plastic out of the reel if there is too much force A further problem is that one of the lights does not work when switched on, unlike the three other lights I bought. It will be exposed to the sun this weekend. I hope it works! The item I have listed above should not be purchased by anyone. This was a poorly constructed site. They took a beating after the storm passed, and they were laid in pieces on the terrace afterward.
