Using the names of (inferior) competitors products is not a good practice. While it may be tempting for the sake of steering people away from lower quality lights, it may not ultimately be worthwhile. That being said, I am glad to talk about these lights on the basis of Water-tight connections and well-built lights make these lights a great choice. The low voltage wire that enters the light fixture is completely sealed as a result. There is no water leak from the unit, which is attached with two highly durable screws that are detachable from the stainless steel/aluminum mounting bracket. You can put this feature to use should you need to replace the light entirely in the future. You'll find that once you mortar these babies in between or beneath a stone sheet, it's going to be a hassle to remove them Everything you need at once It is the whole fixture. In general, this is not even an achievable task without breaking concrete, which is much more expensive than any savings you might realize by buying an LED fixture without a replaceable bulb. Other than that, one of the two lights I purchased (at $50 per light which I am returning) is Unfortunately, I was shocked to find that the LED assembly and brass housing do not have any sort of water resistance. I don't think it is satisfactory to pay for expensive brass for "form" when the light or IP rating of the device is so poor. If you're expecting moisture penetration around the time of the warranty expiration, you'll want an IP65 rating or higher. One of their claims is that the light can be easily replaced (the bulb is simply a plug-in). The feature I like the best is that you can purchase this universal-sized bulb from any vendor and choose the lumens to suit your needs. Despite this, the light socket/assemblement feels extremely low quality and doesn't seem to offer adequate insulation. With the other light (which I am keeping along with the Leonlite), you can swivel it. For a pack of six, it was less than 90 dollars and, in general, looked like a well made, decent Light from the bar is spread out with multiple LEDs and diffused with a frosted cover, which also makes it very even. As for the Leonlite, it has only two LEDs, which are spaced about 3/4" apart. The LEDs are integrated within the light assembly and there is no diffuser (or light cover), which may seem to be a short-cut. Rather than molded into an epoxy mold, these light's two LEDs are hermetically sealed by an aluminum casing, as if they were surrounded on all sides by a cast of epoxy. The only thing I can say, as if there is still enough to say, is that I am a shrewd consumer, an engineer by trade, and mechanical things must meet certain specifications. Passing muster means passing the test. These products aren't as prevalent in the USA as they used to be (my preferred choice when available). In the end, products need to be evaluated on merit, regardless of the country of origin, after considering the company and people that back I can see this product lasting for at least five years without any trouble. You don't need to shop price, you need to shop quality, otherwise you will be shopping twice for something you will only need.

On a retaining wall made of blocks, I installed 16 of these 14 inch outdoor hardscape lights. It provides a soft, guiding light that is reflected down the retaining wall from each light. There is plenty of brightness here, but it is not overly harsh. You won't get a glare shield in your eyes because the glare shield directs the light downward. There are two waterproof wire nuts included, as well as 9 feet of wires that are stripped and tinned near the ends to facilitate installation. 0 is the zero. The power consumption of a 5 Watt lamp is extremely low, and it can be powered by multiple 12 Volt sources at once. Installation was performed with 2/12 cable, using AizzKry "snap on" low voltage connectors instead of wirenuts, so no more cutting and splicing of the feeder cable was required. During installation, the lights were permanently sealed to prevent moisture from entering the system. As I was inserting the lights between wall blocks and capstone, I took advantage of the wide metal flange of the light bulbs. As an alternative, if you want to drill holes in the capstone, you can use the provided hardware for mounting the lights. An adjustment can be made to the metal flange. Several attached photos demonstrate how the light shines during the day, evening, and at night due to a contrast problem, however, some of the lights appear too bright in these photos It does, however, show the approximate cone of light cast. The light is actually far dimmer and illuminates the area several feet from the camera point of view in low light.

I purchased 12 lights for my deck railing. I am very satisfied with them. I like the look of them and the installation was easy. In order to mount, I did need to buy shorter screws. I used stainless steel #8 screws of 1/2" long to mount the screws Light comes from these roughly five feet away when you install them at your standard deck railing height. They put out a lot of light at 1/2 watt each! In spite of that, touchstar sent two replacements as soon as possible for the two light fixtures that didn't work. Generally, these lights are top quality. I am impressed with the way they look at night and the way my deck looks.

Additionally, the bulbs will go nicely with all of the other lights in my front yard. I purchased a couple of 6" long 5 watt bulbs that looked great but were way too bright, making them blinding when I looked at my front porch. I found these by doing another search on Amazon. Due to their brightness of 0, I was concerned they would be too dim. They are only 5 watts, but were perfect. The materials are good quality, and the lead wire was 9 feet long so that I could figure out where to place The time will tell whether they last long or not, but I highly recommend them.

This is incredibly easy to set up. I used it to light up my retaining wall / lawn. Installation takes less than a minute. In case you need to get to a central point of connection, the wires are very long. My main line was just on the inside of the wall, so I had to cut the wires short. Because these are loose set stones, I was able to remove and reinstall as I put the lights in on my flat wall. They are best suited to flat walls but can be used for applications similar to mine because they are loose set stones. A wall that's already installed and mortared / glued together may make the installation more difficult. It's better to buy and install while the wall is being built. In any case, they are of good quality and heavy duty. Depending on which 4 pack you choose, each year's running costs you six cents. This is amazing! It is my pleasure to work with.
