"I don't believe that lights should be stored indoors during the winter. It can also be used in the winter, but make sure the lights aren't buried under a thick blanket of snow. In fact, if the battery power is low and it is stored inside, the battery will quickly be depleted, causing damage to the built-in battery. So, before storing it at home, make sure the battery is fully charged. (To fully charge the light, turn it off and place it in the sun for a few days.)
In a dark room, place your hand over the solar panel area and press the button until the light turns on.
After 8 hours of charging in the sun, the solar light can run for 12 hours.
Thank you for reaching out to us with your query. For the solar light to charge, it must be exposed to sunlight. Please charge it for 2 days in direct sunlight.

made. The yellow "flame" that flickers is a particularly nice touch! br>br>The day/night sensor works well and is extremely sensitive; I tested it in a dark room with the lights turned off. on. It is quick to respond. If you don't want the lights to be on, you can turn them off with the ON/OFF switch. br>br>I particularly like the Lithium-ion rechargeable batteries that are built-in. Ion. Lithium batteries keep their peak voltage and charge much longer than other types of batteries (such as NiMH, nickel metal hydride), which typically have a voltage drop. early in the charging cycle, it's turned off To put it another way, the lights will be brighter for a longer period of time - They also don't have a "memory" and degrade when only partially charged, as could occur on consecutive cloudy days. They should charge to full capacity in 3 or 4 charges, as is typical of lithium batteries. br>br>While I can't say how long these lights stay lit after a full charge, I can say that they're still visible after 5 hours (at 1 a. m. , which is usually way past my bedtime: > ) This is a huge improvement over the solar lights I've used in the past, which dimmed after only an hour or two. This, too, I attribute to the fact that the batteries are Lithium and have a high capacity - They're rated at 2200 mAh, according to the manufacturer. As the lights charge, the solar panels appear to be effective. With enough sunlight, it will grow nicely. br>br>I think these lights are a good value because they are very unique and bright.
I'm not going to (at least not right now). I won't be able to comment on the wall mounts because I won't be using them, but they appeared to be in good working order. br>br>Instructions are succinct but adequate. Install the spike into the pole and the pole on top of the light. Place it in a light-filled area. It's pretty straightforward. br>br>I don't see any instructions for wall mounting, but it's pretty self-explanatory and includes sticker templates to make pre-installation a breeze. For a wall mount, drill holes and install as needed, then simply install the L bend pole and the light. br>br>This is just a suggestion for anyone who is installing these; If your ground is particularly hard, you can use some water to soften it up a bit, but don't slam the light into the ground. It's probably best to put the pole in the ground without the light attached so you won't be tempted to do so, as I can see the light being damaged if you push too hard on it. If you have a rubber mallet, you can use it to drive the spikes into the hard ground, but go slowly. br>br>The lights were larger than I had anticipated, but that wasn't necessarily a bad thing. The base was also taller than I expected; a shorter pole included would be nice to give the user the option of a shorter or taller installation. It would also be interesting to have an even taller pole that you could purchase as an option, bringing them up to about 6 feet. I'm wondering if regular tiki torch poles would work. I looked at 1" PVC for a laugh because it's close but not quite. br>br>Appearance in the daytime was fine; they aren't fancy in the light because they are kind of a flat black with a white can shaped light inside. The solar panel on top blends in nicely with the housing and it all looks fine. I believe they will shine, literally, at night. )br>br>I got them late at night, so I set them out on the porch in a spot where they'd get a few hours of sunlight, and they all turned on within 15 minutes that evening. They're within 20 seconds of each other, so there's some nice calibration going on there. They only got a few hours of sunset but stayed on all night, so either they charge up quickly or they were already fully charged, either way I'm impressed with their runtime. br>br>Their appearance when running seems slightly repetitive but when you're not staring at it closely it does resemble a real fire and from a distance it looks quite similar to a cigarette lighter. They don't produce enough light to see by, but they weren't intended to. br>br>Value is difficult to assess because it depends on how long they last, how well they withstand the elements, and so on, but at the given price, these are probably not something you'll want to line every sidewalk with, but rather use as accents. However, they appear to be nice accents, and cheaper lights could be used to fill in the gaps or for line walks. Alternatively, if you only need accent lighting for a 10 or 20-foot area, these will suffice. They'd probably look best around a porch or a fire pit, but they could go anywhere. We put one of ours in the umbrella mount on the patio table just for fun, and we might leave it there. br>br>Overall, they're great accent lights for the patio; hopefully, the battery and solar panels will hold up over time and these last a long time; I've had them outside for a few days now and they run all night and all come on at reasonable darkness outside and look great.
These lamps are gorgeous, and they came in two pieces. The lamp head on a long neck is the main part, and the second part is the part that can be used to place the lamps wherever you want. They come with a variety of second parts, allowing you to use the lamps in a variety of settings: stakes for securing them to the ground; brackets that screw into a deck or patio's floor; and brackets in the shape of an L for mounting the lights on the wall; In addition, they supply bracket screws. Getting four lamps, as well as all of the brackets, steaks, and screws, for such a low price is a fantastic deal! br>br>On top of that, the two parts are simple to join together! And the steaks, which were the only ones I used, were simple to plant and connect! The lamps themselves are fantastic! br>br> The lights turn on the second there is no light accessing the solar plates, and they are very bright, and they look like there are real flames inside the lamps! My fiance told me right away that the lamps are extremely bright and appear to be real flame lamps! He was blown away, and he's a hard act to follow. When I first put them together, tested them, and put them in the ground, I thought the same thing. And they shone brightly for the entire night on each of the several occasions when I used them. Clearly, the solar panels are very effective! They're also extremely long-lasting! br>br> I can say this because we had one of the fiercest, windiest thunderstorms I can recall in my area in a long time; it was so bad that it broke humongous branches off of trees, knocked out power in half of the region, and poured down buckets of rain, and during all of that, only one of my lights came out of the ground and was gently knocked to the ground, while the other three remained in the ground! None of them were damaged in any way, and they all functioned flawlessly throughout the storm and afterward! As a result, these lamps will last a long time! br>br>As a result, these lamps come highly recommended! A fantastic value for the money, as you get a lot for your money and everything is of excellent quality!.
