Questions & Answers
It's fairly simple to slide them out of the housing and turn off the switch manually. These aren't the lights you're looking for if you want to turn them on and off. (However, if you wait a few days, they will begin to die on their own.) This is my third set, and I'd be damned if another one didn't go up two days after this one! Ugghhhhh!
I'm not sure why some of mine blink all night and don't charge even when it's sunny outside, so I'm not sure what to do.
I'm not sure, but I'd like to find out because two of my lights have gone out. Please inform me if you find out anything!
They aren't the traditional bulbs that they appear to be. They have a coil connection (the part that contacts the flat side of the battery in a battery pack) - So, I'm assuming there aren't any replacements available in a big box store, but perhaps from the manufacturer?

Let me begin by explaining why I gave these only a one-star rating. It's been three weeks since I bought them, and one of them has already failed. br>br>I would give them four stars if they were all still working properly. br>br>The packaging is excellent, and everything arrived undamaged. Mounting hardware (screws) were included. br>The solar panels could have been better; they appear to be defective in manufacture. br>The lights are a soft white color that glows well in the dark.
I've had these for some time and they're fantastic. They get a full charge from the sunny area where I keep them, and they last almost all night. For ambient lighting, the brightness is adequate. On a fence, I've got mine about 2 feet apart. At that spacing, they create a nice amount of light; any further apart, and they'll just be accent lights, in my opinion. Many people express their dissatisfaction with their solar lights by leaving comments about how 'dim' they are. That is not the case with solar lights. These simply do not have the power to produce lighting comparable to a 40-watt bulb. A 60-watt bulb is used. Sorry, but you'll have to go electric if you require that type of lighting. That's all there is to it.
BUYING THIS PRODUCT IS A MISTAKE! These lights have a fantastic look to them! The usability is a complete failure. They worked for one night straight out of the box. I even gave these the benefit of the doubt, replacing the stock rechargeable 500mah NiCd batteries with a 1000mah and placing the solar cells in direct Florida sunlight for two days before reinstalling the lights and turning them on. They made it for ten minutes before the lights went out! Listen to the bad reviews and don't waste your time or money with these lights; I did everything right with them and they failed with every mitigation effort; listen to the bad reviews and don't waste your time or money with these lights! Mine are going to be thrown away because I wouldn't give them away! Are you thinking about buying something? You've been given fair warning!.
I had no idea what to expect from solar lights, but they turned out to be a pleasant surprise! I installed them on our privacy fence. They are positioned at a distance of approximately 2. They are 5 feet apart and work and look great! I wanted just enough light to see all the way to the back of the yard at night, and they do the job!.
These lights were purchased to be used as a border around my swimming pool. They appear to be in good condition; I live in Florida, where we have plenty of sunshine. You'd think that enough sunlight would reach the lights to fully charge them. You'd be wrong; the lights come on and then turn off after about 3 hours. I would not purchase this item again.
They look nice, but after only a month, they only stay on for about 2 or 3 hours, and I put one on each fence post in my large yard, so they all come on at different times and die at different times as soon as it gets dark. I'm thinking about hardwiring them to my solar battery because they're pretty and I have a lot of them.
Our only issue with them is that two of them took a while to get going, and one of them now appears to have a blown bulb, which I can't find replacement bulbs for! Help is needed! Christopher Kurtz, please accept my gratitude.
These have made me very happy. They came with all of the hardware needed to erect them. The screw holes, screws, mollies, and an extra bulb are all stuck on with a pattern. I'm glad I went with these lights because they're perfect and give off a nice ambiance.
