The wiring is in the wall, so I assume all is well. A track light in the ceiling was replaced with this one

You can get good light from this light if you change the bulbs out. This light gave off too much green light after I bought it with cool colors. Earlier today I was able to pick up some different bulbs at my local hardware store. Installation was easy and the canopy is big enough to cover the electric box in the ceiling. So far, this light has received lots of compliments! It would be better if you replaced.
