How Our Score Is Calculated

Product Description

UL and FCC approved original OEM product. The new Pikeman receiver kit should only be purchased when a Pikeman receiver is being replaced.
You can use this remote control receiver to individually control your ceiling fan speed as well as a dimming function (it requires that the light light can be dimmed). Controlling the speed of the fan and turning it off are done with the help of the 4 buttons (HI, MED, LOW, OFF).
This receiver works with ceiling fans which require a remote control, such as the HD5 UC7078T, or the PIKEMAN HD5,53T remote, and 28R/ST6 ceiling fans control kits. A FAN-18R receiver can be replaced with it.
DON'T MISS THIS! 4 is the size of the receiver. In *2, multiply by 3. The ratio of 2 to 1 is. The diameter of 2 inches. You need to enter the same code on your receiver as you do on your remote control. 303 is the frequency of the transmit signal. It is also possible to match a small frequency difference.
A thyristor, an upgraded component, is used by our receiver, a feature that makes it different from other products available There are several advantages of our receiver over those that use two relays. It is safer, has better power carrying capacity, and has a smaller size compared to those that use two Safety is the most important feature of our product.

Questions & Answers

Would the receiver you recommend be better for dimming led bulbs if I have dimmable bulbs? Do you like the 28r or 18r better?

I've tried it with my family and it's great

Despite the lights going out, the music still plays. The lights can be dim or bright, but the remote does not allow them to be turned off. Is there a way to solve this?

We purchased a new fan that was equipped with three The bulbs that came with the fan were not dimmable LEDs, as I had originally suspected they were. In the box, they did not mention dimmability. Look at the bulb and there does not seem to be a way to tell by looking at how bright they are, although they did dim but not go out completely. They were replaced with dimmable LED bulbs (bought new, in a box that clearly indicated that it is a dimmable LED) and everything works as it should. You can use the remote to turn out the lights completely. In this case, we must It would be a good idea to check the LED bulbs you are using to make sure they will dim smoothly.

At the light output of the receiver, how many volts are provided?

There is 110 volts of AC power

Is there a way to change the direction of the fan with this remote?

Changing the direction of a fan will not change the noise level

Even when adding a remote to a fan that did not originally have one
5/5

Based on the reviews I read, I was unsure whether the system could be set up for a "new install. " As I read the vendors' product descriptions, I also noticed their caution. As a result, I checked directly with them. I hope you don't mind if I say this What would be the reason why it wouldn't In response, they said that it will and that their policy pertaining to New Installs is cautious because they want The receiver can be installed according to the canopy cup where the fan hits the ceiling. If the cup can accommodate the receiver, it's not difficult To connect the black and white wires to the receiver, simply attach the black and white wires to the receiver. Connecting the three wires in the receiver to the black, white, and blue out of the fan is a simple process. For the fan motor, there is black and white and for the light there is blue. In some cases the black is red (black may be red for some installations). In addition, you must connect the bare wire in your ceiling with the green wire that is grounded to the canopy. For the remote and receiver, I just flipped dip switch 3 all the way down. For the remote, you will need a 9V battery. Additionally, the fan has three speeds and if you keep holding down the "light" button (it's green), it dims and brightens. You can dim the light on your fan via a remote control. There is no clear reason why this would not be compatible with any fan, as it really is just a switch that sits between the power source and the fan. It is possible that there is some reason for this that I am unaware of, but I am not an expert on all fans around the world. As far as your run goes, I'd say this In the - If it's a mill standard ceiling fan, it should work just fine. It is my hope that this will be helpful.

We are using our oldish Hunter fan with this
5/5

I'm so happy! You will have to learn the configuration of the DIP switches (inside the defunct remote) to configure the new remote control's DIP switches to work reliably with your fan if you are planning on discarding your defunct remote control before receiving the new one.

This works for Emerson fans over the age of 20! The fans in our house were all switched to Emerson units back in 02 and 03 when we moved in
5/5

It would appear that Emerson no longer sells older model remote controls like ours. What they sold online was five times as expensive as the Pikeman type. My old Emerson remote looked identical to the Pikeman and used a four-gang DIP switch to change frequency, so I thought I would try it out to see if it worked. Once the 9-volt battery was installed and the DIP switches were aligned to match my old unit, it worked like a charm! Replace a replacement Emerson unit with one of higher quality and at a lower cost!.

I quite like the product, but it could use a couple of fine tuning tweaks to make it even better
4/5

The product performed exactly for what was ordered, and all related wiring and setup was simple. The setup of the remote could be improved. The remote and hub units are equipped with dip switches that can be toggled from a factory default to an alternative code. However, the switches sit too close by where the battery sits in the remote, which means that it can flip them with the battery after installation. I was initially led to believe that the remote had failed shortly after being installed. In my case, I only flipped the fourth switch, which is where the battery bumps into it. There is a lot of work to be done on that design.

This fan is designed to work with ceiling huggers
5/5

This remote was meant to replace a remote that was included with the fan, but did not function. Rather than performing the task on your own, have an electrician or someone else who knows how to do it do it. The wiring for this fan was underneath the bar that holds it in the ceiling, and I had to dig out the old remote receiver and all the connection wires for it. I have a Harbor Breeze ceiling fan that has all the electrical wires running underneath it. The bar is what keeps everything from dragging on the spinning fan portion of the unit, so they must go there. It would be a good idea to take pictures of how the fan pieces go together as you remove them if you are handy but don't do this for a living. Would have been nice to have had that! In the future, you'll be able to put it back together more quickly. It is very simple to install the new receiver - it can be done in a few minutes Color coded wires go from the house to the receiver and from the receiver to the fan. A second set goes from the receiver to the fan. It is unwise for them to put the ones that go to the house on the opposite side of the ones that go to the fan on the receiver. I found it to be very useful. The most important thing is There is a channel to choose from Watch the same channel as before You will not be able to use it otherwise. There is a need for an 9 volt battery to operate the remote The cost of that is not covered. You should turn on the power and use the remote to test the fan and light AFTER you've installed the new receiver. Make sure that everything is working before you put everything back together. The steps to take the ceiling hugger fan apart and reassemble it are not listed here since I am not an electrician, but I wanted to give you a better idea of what to expect when installing one.
