There was an audible pulse, however, when the video was slowed down. As one lies in bed in the middle of the night unable to sleep, one would fixate on a pulsing hum. Using my expertise, I uninstalled and reinstalled the fan, checked all wiring connections, and all nuts and bolts on the fan to ensure no error was made on my part. No changes were made. Emerson's service people determined it to be a wiring harness problem, and a new one was sent to me. Partially disassembling the car, I removed the original harness, installed the new one, and reassembled it The fan was assembled Not a single change has been made. I had to have the service people change some of the wall switches in the house after a second phone call to them. There have been no changes. It was a new fan that they sent me. Disassembling and packing away the original fan took me some time. noticed that the motor was at an angle as I began to install the new fan. I took the motor apart and discovered the factory had installed it on the mounting plate the wrong way round. With spinning blades that close to the ceiling, this couldn't be good. There was nothing I could do to fix it. My solution was to use some washers as spacers for the bracket and screw it to the ceiling at a slight angle in order to make the motor During the remainder of the installation, there were no issues. I was unable to turn the fan on because it The fan blades had been badly bent, as I found when turning them slowly by hand. I held my eyeballs at the ends of the blades and looked at the blade brackets. To end up with a fan that doesn't wobble, I swapped the blades and brackets with the original fan. Installed this fan on a 12' x 14' bedroom with an 8 ft ceiling, and it seems to be a perfect fit because of the 42" size. As for the quality of materials and workmanship, they are excellent, especially considering it's low profile and light kit. I decided to use this fan because it has a small I found installation to be fairly straightforward, but on the complicated side The instructions were a bit short. If there had been an indication of the screws used where, like Casablanca does on their instruction manuals, it would have been helpful. The efficiency of a ceiling hugger is not as good as one that is further away from the ceiling, but this is the best I have tried. A hugging ceiling was what I was looking for. I have been looking for one like this for quite some time. The original fan we had (in kitchen) was 48" in diameter, and this one is 42". Installation of the RF equipment was facilitated by the supplied installation manual. The wiring colors and screw sizes were clearly described. I like how well the white fits in with the ceiling. There is no noticeable noise from fan operation at any of the 3 speeds. Great experience! Would recommend highly!.

While this is not the most visually appealing or modern looking fan you can find, it does move air well and has the lowest profile. During the last 20 years, we had used this Emerson fan model every night of the year, cold or hot, on medium and high speeds. The system has been stable for that long without any wobbles or clicks. As a result, we replaced it with the same one after it finally failed last week after giving us so many years of trouble-free service. This fan fitted the switch in the wall from the previous fan and was easy to install.

This machine makes a very slight whine when it runs. If you have perfect hearing, as I do, you will find it bothersome. It fits very closely to the ceiling, so you'll be fine if your hearing is fuzzy. Very nice appearance, and it looks very cool. Although it is not as quiet as the Casablanca fan it replaced that was huge and bulky, it is nonetheless The electrician who installed it was able to do so without a hitch.

The fans I purchased and had professionally installed cost me a total of $700. The housing of this fan does not sit flush with the ceiling, but the fan itself is good. On all seven housings, there is at least an 1/8" gap on one side and they are flush against the ceiling on the other side. A rating of five stars would have been possible if the housing of the fan had been designed to be flush with the ceiling.
