S. plug We were able to pair and install the new remote in a matter of minutes. I was very satisfied with it. The price might be a bit high for what it is, but it sure beats buying and setting up a whole new fan as well. Purchasing a higher quality unit that wouldn't fall apart in a year was worth a bit more than I paid.

The review of another customer said that one of these receivers would fit Altura fans. Despite the fact that my fan had different wiring pins, it worked just fine. There are two newer Altura fans that this receiver is compatible with. Therefore, it is very likely that it would work for.

recently purchased this unit to replace my MR77A and while it operates my fan, it doesn't seem to operate the larger 68" fans I have. The onboard capacitor seems to be underpowered, though whether that was accidental or by design remains to be seen.

However, it seems to have taken a long time to repair my ceiling fan. On 1 speed, I can't even get air to come down. However, I was able to prevent myself from buying an additional $250 fan.

Despite the fact that I had to obtain a 12ft stepladder to install, it was quite easy to My contacts at tech support sent me two emails and I called twice before I reached them. A replacement ladder was sent shortly, but I am required to acquire a ladder for 12 feet This one is going to work.
