Questions & Answers
My replacement was sent to me by Brita after I contacted them. Long lasting filters should drain in a few minutes and not seconds like regular filters.
Good to see you! A great question for you. Standard filters, like our Longlasting filters, will work with any filter that uses our Standard Greetings from the Brita Team, Val
Brooklyn, NY, is a good place to live, and I have always felt safe in its waters. But nevertheless, I have been using a Brita pitcher since many years ago. To test it for six months and then change the filter, I would suggest using it for six months. It is a good idea to wash the pitcher at least once per month so the water stays clean.
You can read my review here. There is no Brita brand on these The bottom of the filter should have numbers on it. Flip the filter over to see the numbers. This is a code that indicates the date and time of manufacture, along with the The filter I have does not have such a code, it is a cheap knock off. There is somebody out there cheating consumers. You should not buy this product from Amazon since they should not fulfill it.
Selected User Reviews For Brita Longlast+ Water Filter, Longlast+ Replacement Filters for Pitcher and Dispensers, Reduces Lead, BPA Free, 2 Count (Package May Vary)
I've been a loyal Brita user for a very long time, so I was very happy to see they finally made a countertop filter that captures Based on the instructions, I did the following It is not the same as the regular Brita filters, but the water tastes great and it filters a little slower, but it does not affect effectiveness. I followed the instructions accurately and everything seemed fine at first. As soon as two weeks have passed, During this two-week trial, each filter was tested for 3 weeks My next step was to consult Brita's manual for how to unclog these filters and followed those exactly. “That didn’t make any difference at all. Immediately after attempting to fix both filters, black flecks shot out of each one (see first picture). This product has a box that specifically advertises "no black flecks" (see second photo) and "lasts 3x longer than standard Brita filters" so it is either defective or misleading marketing to state that these filters last at most 3 weeks each. There have been a lot of complaints about similar problems on this site, and Brita just offers coupons for a discount on your next order. There's no point in that. Brita, refund my money or replace my product.

It is hard to believe I bought these filters without reading the negative reviews first. It is true that the reviews are negative. The first filter was installed on July 18, 2018, and it was after that date that I realized it was taking so long A year later, on August 1, 2018, the program stopped working. Typically, filters last for six months, but this one only lasts for two weeks. I also do not like the taste of the filtered water as much as I expected. The best water to drink is bottled water. I have been using Britta filters for years, however I am in the market for a new one. It seems like either Britta or Amazon no longer care about their product or their customers, since all of the negative reviews have been posted. There are chances that Mr. Bezos is more concerned about his space efforts than his business. I was contacted by Britta by telephone and given a phone number and a reference number as a result of my critical review on September 1, 2018. In my call to the number, I was offered the choice of getting a refund or getting a replacement set of LongLast Britta and I have had a long and satisfying relationship, so I chose to replace her. It was a big mistake! I received replacement filters that were as defective as those originally received. August 17, 2018, was the date of the installation of the first filter. Upon reaching the end of August, the filter would empty through the reservoir in 6 to 8 hours. On the inside of the white reservoir, there is now a blotchy, streaky substance. The first time I called Britta, I was told that about 10% of the filters they manufacture are not sourced from renewable sources Several of the items I bought from the above manufacturer were defective. What are the odds that I would receive faulty goods a second time? Buyer beware!.

As we live in New York City, we purchased a Brita carafe to filter the My interest in long-term relationships was sparked by the idea of a long-term boyfriend There is no longer a need for a basic white Brita filter since you can now get a filter that will remove more contaminants and last Our plan was to buy these Brita brand filters to hold out much longer than the white ones, since they are much more expensive than the white The statement is incorrect. While they may be removing more particles from the water, they clogged up much earlier than the amount of gallons indicated in Brita I experienced fast water flow during the first few weeks after using the water system. As a result, the flow slowed down, and now you have to wait patiently for the filter to work. As a result, you get filtered water at a higher cost than with a Currently I cannot comment on whether the contaminants have been removed. It was not noticeable that the taste of the water had changed.

There is no lasting quality to these "long lasting" filters. After we had it for about two months, it stopped working I waited hours for the water pitcher to fill up because it was so slow. Brita's customer service gives you all kinds of useless advice to deal with this issue. The instructions state to wash them in water, rinse them, squeeze them etc. But none of this worked. Do a search for "brita longlast filter slow" to see what we mean. As well as on Brita's website, you will find many angry comments. While we plan to keep our Brita water pitcher, we know we never want to waste any more money on them.

I find this unacceptable! This product is so old that I find it hard to believe it's still around. Had I been able to, I would not have given this review any stars. started out slowly and only became slower and slower as time went on. In our house (using regular filters), we go through 4 fills per day (about 2 gallons). I never had any problems with this filter, but even when it was brand new it took over an hour to drain. Eventually, it took multiple hours to drain a bottle once after months or even years. In the morning, I see that it is less than halfway drained. A couple of nights ago, I would fill it at night, then it would drain in the morning.

The Brita filters I use have been around for many In the beginning, this filter, which is a bit shorter than the newer one, appeared to be faulty We didn't seem to be able to fit the pitchers I was not able to use the filter since it only had 1 groove and would not fit the cross bars of the pitcher, in addition to not being able to access the whole It nearly brought me to tears when I tried 1 last time to insert the Longlast filter, TWIST AND TURN AT THE SAME TIME WHILE PUSHING DOWN and the single groove of the filter did catch on one part of the cross frame and lock into Even though you can see that 3/4 of the bottom of the filter is not touching the cross frame, it appears to be tightly sealed. A good seal and good fit are the hallmarks of the calibration. As a result of multiple failures in lead contamination testing in schools around old San Diego, I invested in this filter. Lead must be added to the filter, and I will never go back to a filter that does not take care of it. It was a stupid design, so I took away two stars. Several Brita employees need to go back to school to learn the basics of ergonomics and customer service. As they checked Facebook and Instagram during class and took selfies during lectures, they must have been on their phones.
