Quick and easy to install! It works great! Having installed a few faucets over the years, this was by far the easiest. Though I have never installed 4- to 6-inch tall cabinets before, I am pretty sure that I was able to do it My time has been filled with installing 5 faucets. Maybe all manufacturers have made installation this easy, but it wasn't quite this easy the last time I did it a couple years ago. To make it easier to turn off, I decided to put it where it would be easy to access in case I did not like the sensor. The silicone one fit into the grooves of the base of the faucet so I installed it above the counter. I thought everything was installed correctly the first time I installed it, but it was barely leaking hot water. My first thought was that I pinched a hose, but after I disconnected the hot water line, I saw that there was a buildup This was due to hard water in my copper lines, so I had to clean them out two or three times before it started working again. I've tested the sensor and it works correctly. The faucet looks nice and is easy to use. I had the same problem as my friend, but we couldn't get it to work. In my kitchen, I have a touchless faucet that I really like. I like that it came in perfect condition and it was installed quickly by the plumber, but I think it also can be installed by anyone as it's not very complicated. The fact that it shuts off automatically when the pull-down sprayer is put back up is also a nice feature. Since I've had it for a few months, I love it.
I expected the motion sensor to fully turn the faucet on and off, but you actually have to leave the faucet handle always in an on position and then turn it on and off with motion. You can deactivate the motion sensor and use the faucet normally. The two functions are not the same. I had hoped to have both, but you must choose one. It's an excellent product overall, but I was under the impression that the motion detector would fully turn the faucet on and off, but you actually have to leave the handle on all the time or deactivate the sensor and just use the faucet like a normal.
