Smart faucets like the one I have in my bathroom are amazing when they work, but the one I moved within six feet of it is still the only device in my house that disconnects every day. The app has become so distracting to the point that I just removed notifications. Initially, I thought it didn't make sense to have the motion sensor placed on top of the faucet, but I didn't realize how often I reach over the top to open a window or grab something, and it turns on the water every time. It works perfectly, doing what you want it to do. It isn't false positives, and it turns on when you want it to. There is a major problem with the product, particularly since you cannot set up the app and link it to your smart home via Google or any other sign-in option offered by the company. I not only was able to establish an instant login with a moen login instead of clicking sign in with Google, but I also fixed the issue by factory resetting my device. My wife and I both tried with our Gmail accounts and it instantly linked with us both as Moen logins. I don't know how their support team doesn't know this because it worked for us both after we tried with Gmail. Obviously smart features can be very convenient when they work, but let's be honest - I would like to ask Moen to ask the kitchen faucet to fill the dog bowl on its own. Even though it sounds like a mouth full, it's something I use when I am.

After contacting the company I purchased it from with an email two months ago, I have not received a response. Our plan is to turn off the sensor, as that was the main reason we bought the faucet in the first place, so it won't waste water anymore. There has been an increase of $30 a month in our water bill. There is a less expensive tap without a sensor you could have purchased instead.
