Questions & Answers

Can you tell me how tall the faucet is?

The diameter is 5 cm

Was shocked to find that faucet manufacturers are switching to plastic pull down parts. Is the metal part of the faucet made of plastic or is it made of plastic with a faux-metal Is it heavy?

Despite being metal, the pull down part is med weight -- not so light that it would bind when retracted, but not so heavy that it would stop seating. This faucet is easy to use and beautiful. We are glad of the quality and the Here's some advice You should buy the battery operated model, since it is cheaper. ...the electric model is about $30 cheaper than buying the outright model. The instructions in the box explain how to convert to electric. Plugging it in is all that's required if you have a power plug (like a dishwasher).

For the handle to move and the temperature to be adjusted, the faucet needs to be rotated 90 degrees from normal. How would you recommend changing the spout angle by 90 deg to match it?

As shown in the picture, it is "No" as far as the faucet's design on the right side is concerned. This would result in the spout not being able to rotate full swing to the right if it is installed and mounted with the handle to the front (90 degrees from right). It seems that there is still 20 degrees to go. Even though a small angle of stop remained, it may not be a big issue. So whichever way you choose, just rotate the handle slightly so that the handle does not hit As a result, you are less likely to end up with water dripping onto the backside of the sink when your hand is wet.

In what way will the finish be achieved?

own this faucet, and according to its box, it has a stainless steel surface. I'm using it with my stainless steel sink and it looks great.

Decisions made at the design stage were terrible
3/5

After reading reviews, I bought this based on the expectation that Kohler valves and fittings would be of good quality, so it wouldn't leak. Thus far, the quality has been fine, but the design decisions used for this faucet make me scratch my head. In my opinion (and that of all of my housemates and friends who have used this) there are two main issues This is "
" Putting the sensor in the wrong place makes no sense at all. I think it is pretty crappy that it is on the top arch of the faucet. Turn the faucet on the right if you have it facing that way As an example, if you use a hand sink to adjust the pressure or temperature and reach for the handle, the faucet will turn After my hand has been waved through it again, I must repeat this process. Upon turning it back on, it turns back on again. If you have a strainer in your sink and you are draining noodles or pasta and pouring boiling water into it, it will trigger the faucet because the rising steam will cause it to open. Be sure your faucet faces away from your strainer if this happens. In our opinion, the sensor should have been placed on the top, where it would be unlikely to be accidentally triggered.
*dr> It is not a good idea to set the shower faucet to high-pressure unless you like that Lasers that work under pressure The sink/dishes are splattered with water due to water bursting out in all directions. Because the holes used for this setting are far too small, unless the pressure is set way below halfway, it will shoot extremely focused water beams straight at the target, resulting in tons of overspray on the wall, countertops, clothing, etc. IT RUINS. I always have to re-set this setting as it is the one I use most regularly I will adjust the pressure of my faucet to ensure that this does not occur. The bottom line is that there are two major problems with this faucet, and as a result I wouldn't recommend it to anybody. Each and every person who has visited my house and used this thing has had nothing but negative things to say as well. I have had many people give me this kind of It would have been wonderful to return and use something different, but it is too late at this point so I might just have to live with the shortcomings until I can find something better.

The product was not completely blown away, but there were no Buyers Regrets either
4/5

Please see  " The pros include The design is very nice! * Smooth function for the most part. If you have chicken hands (etc. ) then this will be useful. This reduces the transfer of bacteria, such as salmonella, Ecoli, and other pathogens. The water pressure is fantastic, and there is a It's great that there's a fan spray. I found the install to be quite easy. The simple design means it is very easy to The cons are It's a little ridiculous how the battery situation is. If you want to bypass the batteries, DEFINITELY order a converter/power adapter thing. There are times when it turns on and off randomly, skipping out. After 4 minutes, it automatically turns off the light. There's something about sensor placement that's tough to get used to, I like the fact that it's invisible from most angles, but I have a difficult time determining exactly where it lies.
A little pricey, for how basic it is.
A little awkward, at least for me.

ALL IN ALL I hope the faucet lasts a few years although for example, this faucet looks like it would last a few years. There are a couple of things to like about this app It's simple, solid, and streamlined, and it's functional. If you don't want the battery pack to operate, buy a power adapter.

This faucet is very good
5/5

There's nothing better than this. The charger is installed with lithium ion rechargeable batteries and is working In fact, if your water pressure is a bit low in your pipes the water solenoids have a pump that will boost the pressure to enable the faucet to function You can also turn the solenoid counterclockwise if there is a power outage so it can work like a regular faucet if the power is out during the day. You can take advantage of this feature when you have guests who don't know it's a touchless faucet for the party. This product is one that I would highly recommend. The only gripe I have is I wish it came with a power module to allow it to be installed with a plug, but you can buy an extra plug for very little money.

It's better to go touchless! Thus far, the faucet seems to be working well
5/5

When I tried to plug in the power adapter that I purchased directly from Kohler, it did not work, so I had to return it. In view of the 6 AAA batteries' length of life, it may take some getting used to. If you are used to a conventional on and off valve system, it may take some time to get used to leaving valve open to your preferred setting and switching on the sensor.

It is so great to have such a faucet! It has been over a year since we have used this faucet, and it has always worked fine
5/5

The new batteries came with the device not too long ago, so I only had to replace the cheap free ones. There is no way I will ever go back to a manual faucet. The convenience of turning on the water with your hand when you have food or other trash on your hands when you move your hand is truly amazing. It is a product I would highly recommend.

A touch from Kohler A faucet that is less
5/5

Please see  " The faucet is very good and I am very happy with it. In the end, I chose touch-screen Due to my heavy use of food preparation and baking, I keep the version to a minimum. Installation of the faucet took less than 20 minutes because the instructions were easy to follow. Also, I bought an AC adapter so that I would not be required In the event that I have wet dough or if I intend to prepare raw meat, moving my hand under the faucet to activate the water is now a lot quicker. Prior to now, I needed to sanitize the faucet handle after I was done using it. My favorite thing about this is that it is no longer there. The bottom of the nut has a single nut. Because of the limited space under the sink and in the rear of the cabinet, the previous faucet had a frozen nut that took a while to get out.

Good product, but removing the old faucet is a bit difficult, just a heads-up in case you think you can do it in a hurry
5/5

It is also good to have two people present during installation, as it is difficult to work under.
