Selected User Reviews For Kraus KFF-1610CH Bolden 2-in-1 Commercial Style Pull-Down Single Handle Filter Kitchen Faucet for Reverse Osmosis or Water Filtration System, Chrome
I hadn't considered this faucet because it appears to be a little odd, but the 5-star reviews convinced me otherwise. I was compelled to investigate because of the positive feedback. I then went out and purchased the stainless steel version, which I installed today. One thing that stood out to me was the superior quality of the construction and fit and finish compared to a cheaper product I had previously tried ( The braided hoses were thicker, and the main shaft lock ring design was superior (brass lock ring with two Phillips screws to secure the adjustment and keep it from loosening - There is no low-cost plastic). Installation was also made easier by the Kraus' design. In the end, you get what you pay for, but the price isn't as outrageous as a Moen. This type of faucet design is unbeatable in terms of functionality, as you can easily swivel the gooseneck from side to side, allowing you to move it out of the way. Because the faucet handle has a 90-degree sweep, it can be installed with minimal clearance to the sink's back wall. The nozzle, of course, detaches, and the hose can be pulled out up to 2 feet to reach outside the sink. What I really like is the shower feature of the nozzle because it has very good pressure so I can use less water because I don t have to open the faucet handle more than 20 br>br>I got lucky because the Kraus nozzle aimed exactly down the center of the drain after I installed it, despite the fact that my house is 80 years old and has an old sink! The nozzle spray's high water pressure helps to clean out the two sink screens I have, so they don't clog as frequently as they used to (every three months or so). Food scum clogs them up after 4 days).
The hot water line leaks after I install the faucet. It's cracked on the inside and wiggles in place, unlike the cold water line, which is fine and looks great on my dark grey granite counter top. I'll be curious to see how long the sprayer lasts because it's made of light plastic. The company demanded that I send a video of the problem and informed me that the water lines would be impossible to replace. The lines are built into the faucet, which I consider a flaw in the product. They responded by email, stating that I would need to install washers, which I could purchase separately, in order to make them watertight. Not true. My cold water line functions perfectly well without the addition of a second, unneeded line. provided with a washer I have no working kitchen faucet until the hot water line on the inside is repaired, and I'm very frustrated. br>***Recent changes: Kraus stated that they would replace the entire faucet, so once I receive it, I should be good to go. br>****** Excellent customer service; the new one is flawless and looks fantastic.
br>br>1. What difference does it make if the sprayer head is made of plastic? It's heavy enough to keep the hose from being pulled down. It doesn't move around. It's extremely useful and matches the rest of the faucet (Stainless version).
2. The water pressure is incredible!
3. It was incredibly simple to set up. The faucet comes with long hoses already attached. I didn't require any additional materials to complete the installation. Set screws are also incorporated into the plate underneath, saving you the trouble of having to get a wrench up under your cabinets.
4. It's nicely packaged and includes useful information. Great group of people! As of right now, there aren't any disadvantages.
5. What a fantastic deal. I've seen a lot of $300 faucets in our local stores, and this one beats them all. br>br>There are no issues or drawbacks here. This book comes highly recommended. Update for 2020! br>br> br>There are no leaks or other problems to speak of! This faucet continues to delight us. The finish is extremely resistant to spotting, the sprayer continues to function flawlessly, and the water pressure is excellent. This is one of the best books I've ever read.
We discovered the faucet had manufacturing flaws after paying for a plumber to install it. It started leaking in two places right away - from the sprayer's supply line and the faucet itself From Amazon, I ordered a new faucet. I then contacted Kraus to ask for reimbursement for the costs of the plumber returning to install the replacement a second time. I provided Kraus with all of the requested information, including a video of the leaks. I politely requested reimbursement for the second plumber visit ($107), which I only paid because the first faucet was defective, but Kraus turned me down, claiming that their warranty only covered "parts. " " This is a terrible way to treat your clients - Kraus' faulty "parts" were to blame in the first place.
This faucet has exceeded our expectations. Because of the complaints about the plastic head in some of the reviews, I was a little hesitant to buy it. To be honest, I forgot about that part while waiting for it, and my husband was disappointed when it arrived. We've been using it for almost two months now, and I must say, we're very pleased with it. We are completely oblivious to the fact that it is made of plastic. The faucet has a modern design that looks great in the kitchen. It is something I strongly suggest.
This Kraus model was purchased for my brand-new, ultra-modern kitchen. It looks right at home with its sleek white shaker cabinetry and marble countertops! It's also very practical, thanks to its extendable feature and the ability to switch the water flow, which I like for quick power dishwashing or gentle fruit washing. I've previously owned Kraus faucets and sinks and have been very pleased with their quality and durability; I'm confident that my newest favorite addition will meet the same high standards!.
I would strongly suggest it. Following installation, it has a "wow" factor. By no means was this a spontaneous purchase. I completed all of my research and homework by reading product reviews on a variety of websites. However. After researching the pricing of this item at the big box stores, I discovered that it was cheaper on Amazon, and I received it two days later, thanks to my Amazon Prime membership. This faucet is fantastic, and it exceeded my expectations in terms of functionality. Sturdy, well-made, and well-designed. According to my husband, the installation was very simple and quick.
