Good morning!
I appreciate you asking for information. Both our 1600 and 1700 series of Deltas will work with the Delta RP22734 bonnet nut. I wish you the best of luck, Rosanna

There can be no 5 stars for me. Sorry about that. There is a design flaw in Delta's tub shower faucets. My favourite part of fixing them is finding out they don't work, but I think it's just wrong to make a faucet that twists three tiny soft tubes, and subsequently destroys the whole faucet when the homeowner attempts It's a shame that Delta acted like that. Make your name great then manipulate your buyers to the fullest extent. "Buy ANYTHING but Delta" is the advice I give to my customers. Price Pfister is the only company I have nearly NO problems with. In reality, I work with Delta for 90% of my repairs. This ring is only available because of the construction of faucets that are designed to fail in the first place in order for them to work. You should be able to draw these for Hence all faucet makers would be under recall, if faucet manufacturers had the same recall process as automotive manufacturers.
My 19-inch monitor is now running on Delta RP19804 cartridges The shower faucet is more than a decade old. The nut that goes into the valve of the RP19804 is of the correct size. A solid, clean thread and good build quality make this nut a good choice. A new nut that is durable and to last a long time. The old nut was hard to remove and very corrosion-prone. It is highly recommended to have this on your computer Before you begin, make sure you inspect your own, as it may be corroded as well. You should also replace the nut when you change the cartridge to ensure that the seals are properly seated/compressed in the body of the valve After that, you don't have to touch it anymore. Make sure to use a wire brush for cleaning - You should thread up the body of the valve and place the nut on Be sure to wipe off all grit before putting on the The nut should turn easily and cinch up without extra force if it is clean.
Make sure to order one of these when you replace the cartridge in your shower. As for the existing one, it is likely seized on and will require destruction in order to remove it. It is easiest to remove a stuck nut by simply grinding flats on either side of it and inverting it. Drill a hole through the item and break it free with a punch and a hammer if that doesn't work. It's better to buy this to replace the old one than to not.
My ca was a perfect fit for this. The valves on Delta showers date to 1998. It is important to note that the originals were brass, but this one is steel. Oftentimes, old bonnet nuts are "frozen" (mineralized), and you have to be very careful not to force them off (damage to Cutting them off (using a Dremel) and then replacing with this inexpensive part is as safe as cutting through stainless steel. I tested it both on a valve that had been in regular use for nearly 20 years, as well as one that had been barely used at all If you are going to put in a new nut, be sure to use a wire brush to clean off threads first. Whenever possible, I grease the threads with plumber's grease so they are easier to remove in the future. It is recommended.
If I had not had this part on hand, I would have probably been in tears.
The old nut had to be almost completely dismantled. For the tip, I believe this was given by another reviewer on this site, a Mr. Henson. You could try drilling a 1/16 inch hole in the flush face side of the nut if you are having trouble getting this thing to crack and unscrew. A mere fraction of a centimeter pierces With the small chisel, I tapped it with a small hammer until it unscrewed, then I turned it over and spun it inside out.
A chisel blade placed in a notch and angled so that it can remove material in a particular direction. Using a few gentle strikes, the ring was removed from the valve body without damaging the threads. Fittings were perfect, and the new ring was installed using a thin coat of graphite anti-static Take advantage of.
When trying to replace the shower head valve, I tried 4 stores without success. It is a standard part that needs replacing when you replace your shower head valve. I'm very happy with the replacement. It went right on, and so far I haven't had any problems.
The shower valve was in need of a replacement which had to be an exact match. After doing the research and buying this item before changing out my shower valve, I'm glad I did. My previous one had to be cut off, and I had this one ready for installation. I was lucky to have found this!.
