Is this intended to be used outside?

It's fantastic. I used it inside. I'm not sure if it'll rust in the open air. I suppose it depends on how close you are to the sea.

Is it possible to use this with boiling water that is instantaneously hot?

It was sweltering. The faucets on Insta Hot are unique. Most faucets are rated for no hotter than 140 degrees water, so anything that isn't made for instant hot won't last. With all of the plastic pieces, it has to be less. They also state that only cold water should be used.

Has anyone tried putting seltzer water in this?

Tap water is the only option.

It has a great look and feel to it

T was purchased for the first time. Products made by S Brass. This appears to be very sturdy and well constructed, and the finish is excellent. The only change I would make is to add a lower washer to provide a more stable mounting base on more flexible surfaces. On a stainless steel deck, I used a 7/8" fender washer for this.

I installed two of them at a restaurant and the customer was very pleased with the product. It's a little embarrassing when a paying customer sees you getting water from a hand sink faucet.
