It is both attractive and durable. Installing it was a breeze. My only suggestion is that the incredibly small Allen wrench required for installation be included. br>The quality appears to be excellent, comparable to that of products 3 and 4. 4 times the cost.
When we first saw this pot filler, we were blown away by how sturdy it is. Simple setup (we're do-it-yourselfers). ers). The only thing keeping it from getting a fifth star is the fact that after running it, the filler gets extremely hot to the touch. You can avoid the hot part if you move it by only touching the handle, but this takes some practice. We are very pleased with the results.
Over the stove, this pot filler serves as a functional work of art. Everyone who has seen it has complimented us. One issue has arisen, and it is escalating. The head is dripping with blood. It began shortly after the installation, about a month or two later. There is a two-way switch. The one in the back is still in the game. Not so much for the one at the top. I began to have issues with my pot filler's upper arm at the joint after noticing some water at the joint, which was minor but noticeable, so I contacted the seller. The seller advised me to remove the upper arm and tighten a nut that sits in the middle of the joint, which I did but it didn't work, so I contacted the seller again and was told it should have worked if I followed the steps and if an o-ring was used. The ring seal was still on, so I asked if I could send a video. At this point, I began to have reservations about the seller. After much back and forth, I had to inform the seller that the pot filler was defective and that I was filing a warranty claim for a replacement. The seller honored the warranty by sending a replacement pot filler, and I give them two thumbs up for that! Finally, if anyone is having issues, be aware that the seller will want you to work with them, which is understandable, but there is a 5 year warranty for peace of mind.
In 2018, we added a pot filler to our kitchen renovation. It definitely gives the kitchen a bit of character. It's something I use on a daily basis. Water pressure is extremely high. It takes less than 15 minutes to fill a large pot, and installation was simple. If I had to do it all over again, I'd lower the height at which I installed the inlet because it's a little high and can splash. My mine began to leak after a few months. Fortunately, due to the dual shutoff, this was not an issue. I emailed customer service and received a prompt response from them, who were courteous and apologized for the fluke leak. I had a replacement shipped to me within a week. It took 5 minutes to uninstall and reinstall the software once more.
It's of excellent quality, according to my contractor. There are two shutoffs on this device. In essence, if one fails, the other will prevent any leakage that people may be concerned about. Also, my contractor installed a shut off valve at the back of my stove because any product can fail, and a shut off valve is required if you have a pot filler! I'm very happy.
It was well-reviewed, and the shipping weight was higher than that of similar products at a similar price. It's up and running now, and it's fantastic. It has a heavy duty feel to it. Make certain you complete four tasks. Plumber's tape, 5 times around. The first time it leaked at the connection, the second time it leaked at the connection, and the third time it leaked at the connection with fewer leaks It would have been even better if there had been more people.
