LG 3045ER1017L Inner Tub, Silver

The LG front loader I own was having the usual smoking and banging issues during spinning cycles. When I found the fix on Utube, I ordered the bearings, the rear spider support, and 6 bolts so I could I stripped down the washer to inspect the bearings and found that they were in great condition. However, the spider seemed Because of the stripped threads inside the tub, I was unable to take out 3 of the spider bolts. So, what do I do now? As we search online, I discover that Amazon is offering the LG inner tub, INCLUDING the spider attached with six $11 seats. There are 100 bolts per set. It arrives the next day after I order it that afternoon! I put it all back together an hour or two later and it worked Thank you Sun Parts LLC for your great service. FYI, LG changed the parts number on the bathtub from 3045ER1017A to 3045ER1017L. The part number remained the same on the front of the tub. S. Mike.

My front load LG washing machine could not be happier with the product. One complaint I had was that the description did not clearly emphasize that a spider was included (or this was shown through the images. I thought I needed to order the spider as well when I ordered this item. I was working on my first front load washer when I made the repair. The spider was still frozen to the tub when I disassembled the machine. Those of you who are more experienced than likely already knew the tub came with a spider. Unlike the drum itself, LG washer drums have a design flaw that causes the spider on the drum to corrode slowly and eventually break or crack from the dissimilar metal on the spider versus the drum itself. Originally an older model, the 3045ER1017A drum, it was offered without a spider and as a replacement or upgrade. It's nice to see that this drum has a black spider painted on it. There must have been some kind of paint used to block direct contact between the spider and the drum in order to avoid corrosion caused by dissimilar metals. I was hoping to replace only the spider on my washer drum since that was the only part that had broken, but I was unable to remove it because the threads of the bolts that attached the spider to the drum were stripped, possibly from As a result, I am very happy with my drum / spider set, as it is very durable and my washer works smoothly While you are replacing the drum, you should also replace the drum bearings, even though the bearings can be a pain to replace. As a result, I had to get a big chisel and a sledge hammer to knock the bearings out and install the replacements.

As it spins, it vibrates. It's hard to imagine what you could possibly want more? I used the tub as delivered, since the shipping box showed that it had been roughed up during transit, and indeed, there was a small dent on its side, but it did not affect its spin or balance. This has been working great for a long time! If I live to the end of my life, I hope I never have to rebuild a washing machine again!.
