Is it possible to apply a second coat after this has dried to fill in any gaps where the product has sunk? Because the shower door was removed, I had a larger hole in the sidewall. ?

Yes, it is preferable to overfill and sand to the original surface.

Will it repair a 4 inch long crack in the bottom of a fiberglass tub/shower surround?

It will not hold permanently if it is a crack and you can push both sides of the crack. You will need access to the back or bottom of the tub to make this repair; otherwise, the tub will have to be removed or you will have to hire a professional to make the repair, which will cost hundreds of dollars, if not $1,000.

Is it possible to paint the repaired surface?

Yes, but to what end? Urethane? Epoxy? Are you talking about polyester?

That'll do it. I cracked my tub in two places while painting the walls above the shower enclosure with a step ladder in my tub. br>Use and application of this product were a breeze. br>One tip is to not use too much because any excess will need to be sanded down, and it will become very difficult to do so.

I saw a video on YouTube where this product was used to repair small holes in a fiberglass tub, and THIS STUFF REALLY WORKS

It came in handy when I needed to fix my tub. It's simple to use and comes with everything you'll need to complete the repair. It also does exactly what it says. Where a hole once existed, the repaired area was sanded down to a smooth, solid patch. Wonderful.

We only needed to patch three small holes, and it worked perfectly! There was a slight color difference, but it stopped any leaks because our stall is somewhere between white and bisque.

Small cracks can be repaired with this product

It was simple to follow the instructions, mix up, and use this product. It shrinks a little after drying (as the instructions state), so you'll either need two applications or put a little extra on the crack the first time. I smoothed it with a small flat piece of cardboard from the package (like a trowel), as the stick provided didn't work well. Overall, I was pleased with the outcome.

It didn't come with all of the pieces

Only one piece of sandpaper was included in the package, rather than the 400 and 600 grit recommended in the instructions. It was strange because all of the small parts were in a sealed plastic bag.

The color scheme is incorrect

This product was used to fill in holes left by shower doors in a fiberglass tub/shower. br>According to the description and color sample, biscuit was the color that matched ours. br>However, it did not; the color is grayer than biscuit. 'I'm not crazy about the color, but I'm not going to do it again. '.
