The reviews we read were usually extremely scary and said that the tubs they looked at were stunningly beautiful but they were square and modern. The pipes hold hot water for just a short time and are cracked and flimsy. I keep saying "blah, blah, blah. " Neither insulating nor constructing the floor of this tub did not need to be done. This tub holds hot water for at least an hour. A substantial weight difference between it and most of the other machines was 160+ lbs The weight of the character is 75 pounds. Our favorite part of it is that it looks great! BEAR IN MIND If you want a tub that is true bright white, order Artic White.
The opening needs to be precisely 60", so check the studs or if there's any variance in the studs, etc. You may not be able to install it. I'm happy to report that I have a reciprocating saw and was able to hack a bit and muscle it in, but keep in mind.
After it was installed, it was a great bathtub, but I would not recommend buying it online because American Standard does not pack the bathtubs very well. As soon as we received the first one, we found the drain to be all smashed. Although the second seemed to be okay, when it was unpacked the underneath bar was broken, but at least we were able to use it. A box containing the tub has no styrofoam or anything else to protect it.
I wanted to replace my old cast iron tub because I didn't I like the way this tub looks and it is As you can see, it's deeper than it looks, making it the perfect place to luxuriate. It is not a problem for me to step in and out with a grip bar. There is a coating that keeps the bottom from slipping while bathing and it works well. Initially, I was concerned about how difficult it would be to clean, but so far nothing has gone wrong.
This tub appears to be a good balance of quality and price after searching online. My decision to get the software was a good one once I got it. It's a wellmade tub for the money that's solid and sturdy. It sounded a bit risky to me too to order a tub online. My parcel arrived in a truck, and two very nice gentlemen wheeled it into my garage so that I could inspect it. Amazon sells bathtubs! Who would have thought it.
I would recommend it. It went in easily and has a great depth. The room is not really large enough for two people, but I can't really complain about the price.
I like it, but I don't find it that eye-catching. As far as I can tell, it is a bit bulky. Despite the quality finish and the fact that it will last for years, I do not find it.
Rubbing the edges with rough hands can easily leave them scaled out. As soon as they are used, edges start to rust.
