Moen A725 Round Drop Ell Handheld Shower Wall Connector, Chrome

There's a lot of plastic junk out there. I am shocked at how expensive this piece of junk is. Despite having a brushed nickel housing, all of the plastic components that handle water are made of. Moen is charging for something that cost them very little to make, but by using their name and brand, they get a large profit. Having tugged on it for a bit and/or trying to manipulate it for a couple of years, it will have failed / leaking / broken. It was a good choice for me to go with the Danze D469058BN R1, which is all metal, heavy, well made, and costs a bit It is a myth that the more expensive the brand name, the more convenient, or the better the quality of plumbing supplies. No, it doesn't, and this is proof of that.

Upon first installation, there was a really nice appearance to the products. As of November 11, 2019, the installation was complete. All the Moen products in our bathroom were installed by us. We have experienced problems with two of the products since then. There are stain marks only on one end of the shower, however. As a result of the problem, the Moen T3111BN Kingsley Moentrol Shower Valve with 3- Ways has been recalled integrated diver valve trim for the brushed nickel and the round drop Ell connector for the Moen Round Drop Ell Handheld Shower Wall Connector. I see that both of these products are covered with what looks like water spots. Right now, it seems like all the other devices in the shower are working properly. On both of these products, I will be contacting Moen for warranty service.

During the remodeling of our three bathrooms, we purchased three of these Drop Ells and other moen valves and fixtures. In addition to the brushed nickel finish, all other products arrived in the correct condition. It came in brushed nickel labeled appropriately as the drop Ell for the handheld showerhead. Installed by the plumber, it was evident that the color was darker and more golden, similar to satin chrome. I am disappointed since the plumber is gone, and I now have to try to fix the problem. Are further changes being made to the trip charge to make it more consistent with.

According to the reviews, I initially assumed the piece was made of plastic, but that was only partially correct. The 90-degree elbow that connects to the water connection is made Since it appears to be painted black, we might have assumed it is plastic, but that is incorrect. It is in fact It is made out of plastic and it has a chrome or whatever color you selected. Despite the fact that the entire piece is not made of metal, only parts of it are. I have given this a 4 star rating.

There were 3 months in it! The threads and the inside of this item, as well as the inside, did not appeal to me when I first received it. Even though I installed it anyway, it appeared to hold up at first, but after a little less than 3 months of use, it began going to reinstall it with more thread tape and pipe dope just to ensure it would stay in place when I noticed it spins on too easily. When you take a closer look, you can see As it turns out, the bottom of the bottle is split. As the pipe expanded, the thread of the pipe got caught in the micro split. With the water pressure, it lasted for a short period of time. Metal is the only material that would work for such a thing. This item should not be purchased if you are not Having water enter the wall behind your tiles because there is a leak that you fail to notice is the last thing you want to happen!.

It seems that other reviews indicate that the product is 100% metal, but mine is truly Could it be that oil rubbed bronze is the only option? In any case, no plastic was found, which was a pleasant surprise. It's a wonderful experience to have quality and finish that are so high.

I like the value for the money and the looks, but the plastic components make it feel cheap. As it is plastic at all connection points, I would caution on connecting it and connecting to it to prevent it from overturning since it fits well and creates a professional look. As far as rust resistence goes, it will be fine in a shower setting, but as to whether it will resist cracking will be a matter of time. The color is nice and I would recommend the.

The faucet found its way to the time line near the end of the project when I was building a new shower. Initially, I thought I would make a chromed nipple and some trims. After further contemplation, I thought that there likely would be a fitting for this project - and here is one! In plumbing fixtures, quality is what you pay for. It's a high visibility part, and if I cut corners on it I'd have to stand next to the shower every time and be reminded that I cut corners instead of going first-rate. It seems that everyone from whom I have shown my work has looked at this part and commented on how well finished it looked. I am so glad I bought it. A solid brass part with a chrome finish is attached to the part. Although it appears in the picture that it is a fitting with a chrome cover, it is actually a casting made of solid brass. This is usually a good thing in the plumbing industry since it feels heavy for its size. You will have to pay a little extra for this gem, but it is well worth the cost.
