That is why the shower cartridge was most important to me. However, I was also in need of a handle and shower head. The reviews were both good and bad for me, and that's the way most of us do it. It allegedly leaked from the shower head itself, according to one of the bads. There are always going to be bad apples, like most things in life. That particular review, however, was more accurate than any other. There is a leak in the shower head. After purchasing a separate shower head, I went ahead and installed it. Despite this, as soon as I removed the leaky shower head, I noticed that the water had The shower cartridge is leaking water, which leads me to believe the shower head is leaking. Installing seems to be going smoothly, unless I am doing something totally wrong. Regardless, I'm gutted and disappointed about the whole thing. The plumber has been contacted directly and I will be contacting them to see what can be done so that my shower head won't drip while I sleep.
As well, I like a lot of water pressure, so let me let you in on the secret. Remove the water saver (the grey thing that screws into the wall) and also the black gasket that is inside. At first I didn't remove the gasket but I thought it really made a If you need to use tweezers, you might need to do so. Take a shower and get ready for the best time of your life!
On a related note, this is a nice looking trim but I wish the screws on the valve were hidden instead of being so obvious.
Very solid. I love it! Here are the steps I took to install this along with the rough in valve mentioned in The HF valve I got was all I needed since I did not need a tub spout connector. I was doing it all from the front of a fiberglass shower, and there was no access from the side. As well as the thin wall plate in the instructions, I used a thin wall plate as well. It was a piece of cake to do this job since I had pex pipe, no copper, and original pex fittings. But no one's life is going to be this easy for every single person. I am not a plumber, but I did do a bit of extra prep and research to make sure all went well. I just have to say that Delta has a very premium feel and appearance Are the options, installation, and ease of use worth the cost? It's a nice piece of hardware for the shower!.
I like the way it looks. They are thin, but not durable. It is only the spout pipe and lever in the kit that are solid. I would not use this in a new home since I have already installed it in my old home. It works well for freshening up a bath prior to selling You will receive a kit that includes a new cartridge that may not fit your Delta valve body if your Delta valve body is pre-installed With the new top piece I swapped out the old one, and it all worked like a charm.
Part 1 (stainless steel finish) I installed this shower kit in early 2016. Despite the stainless steel being "stainless", it was stained with water after two weeks. It seems like I can't remove the spots, no matter how hard I try. Definitely, when it comes to everything, I've tried it. The second part of this series As of late January 2019, the year is in its early stages. Leaks have been found in the valve. A steady drip, not just a drip here and there A steady drip of water is coming out of it- Rate of drip. What are the chances that the valve will go bad after three years? My first impression is that it is sketchy. I am willing to accept $50 if the kit cost that much. As an added bonus, the kit comes with a 5-year I was able to speak with an English-speaking person on Delta support once I called. Support took no issue with my request to send me a new valve and seats, and I received my new valve one week later. The way it is phrased makes me feel like this is a frequent I wouldn't purchase a Delta product again if I was given the chance to purchase another shower/bath kit.
The shower head's pressure is not as good as I was expecting out of the box. This was my first attempt to remove I used a ring restrictor and that greatly helped to relieve Due to our appreciation for dual pressure/temperature control, we were certain we would choose the same kind again when we remodeled. In the past, we have been happy with Delta 17 series since the two showers we replaced were Delta 1700 monitor fixtures that lasted two decades without issue.
I have no complaints about the warranty. Plumbing is a big part of what I do in my remodels, as my company does most everything, including remodeling. Delta is the only software I use. In the past, I have used other fixtures when clients requested them, reluctantly. Is Delta the right choice for you? To begin with, they have a universal body for the shower valve. Besides having shut off on the body, the body I installed to go with this also had shut off on it, so if you ever had to change the cartridge, you never need to shut off the water in your house. Nice Moreover, you can get new cartridges in just about any store. In terms of the item listed, it arrived before the estimated delivery time, and it was well packed. I very much like the finish of the valve body, and it fits perfectly. It works perfectly fine as.
