What happens once the piece is dropped in? How does the countertop attach to it? There is now an attachment that screws to the sink and clamps to the counter top on my sink. ?

There are a number of reasons why this is referred to as a drop in sink (note the words in parentheses). If you want it to fit into your bathroom countertop, its lip has to be larger than the cutout hole. Sealing it in place requires sticking a bead of caulk around the hole in the countertop. The caulk sticks solidly to the surface when it cures

Does it only have a single dimension outside the 21 X OD?

In spite of initially looking too big, this counter top fit my counter perfectly and is beautiful, as well as being very functional.

Can anyone let me know what dimensions the opening needs to be cut out? Wouldn't it be nice if the template had that information? Replace an old sink, but you would like to make sure it is a larger model?

Self-help is what they call it It is impossible to attach it to the counter with anything other than Hence, if the plumbing isn't perfectly aligned with the hole in the sink, you aren't going to be able to use it.

You even got a template to use. A brand new sink was delivered to me in perfect condition and exactly matched the measurements I had given on the site. We were able to install it easily and it fit perfectly over our existing vanity. The rough opening was even designed using a template! I am very satisfied with the product and the delivery was very rapid. Renovating Quebec is a dream come true.

For the money, this is a very good sink

My objective was to replace a cracked sink in my motorhome with this product. taking a look at several other RV websites that sell the plastic one for $85, I decided that I needed to get it. The time now is 000101 I spent $120. 00. The results were much better this way. The ceramic was a perfect fit for the old one and did look great, although it is not known how long the ceramic will last. I cannot express enough how pleased I am with the packaging and how great the value was. When it comes to money, there is no such thing as a bad deal!.
